"Enjoyed staying here and attending the Takayama Fall Festival. A nice surprise was that there was a washer/dryer combo in the room which helped a lot as we arrived there mid-trip and could do our laundry ~ a BIG PLUS! It was also my 1st experience using an Onsen."

"A beautiful hotel! We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in the middle of the historic area of Takayama. It’s walking distance to everything you’d like to see. The hotel is clean, staff were super kind. They have free drinks each evening in the lounge and offer both western or Japanese breakfast for a fee. The hotel isn’t the most sound proof however it’s a quiet area where shops and restaurants close at a reasonable time so we had no trouble sleeping. Our room was very spacious and clean. We found the beds to be comfy. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station. "

"The front desk are really helpful. I had problems with communications on my car bookings and Takayama tickets. They were so patient in helping me. If you are a foreign guest , this hotel is great. The rooms are spacious. The soft jazz music in the lounge is lovely. It’s location is great. Lots of good eateries nearby. Check out Cafe Basque for a lovely small restaurant with reasonable good Spanish food with good vibes. Prices are decent. "
