Book a hotel near Taroko National Park, Taiwan

"The hotel itself is very nice (new?), but the surrounding area lacks much of anything other than some cool biking opportunities. "

"The owner knows the history of Taiwan and the area. He is a wonderful person to meet. The place is so well put together. It even includes a pond with large koin carp (goldfish). The breakfast is very good. There are bicycles to ride should you so wish. We chose to ride! "

"We had an amazing relaxing, calming stay at Sophia’s property. It was sparkling clean, well thought out and Sophia drove us to her favourite restaurants for lunch and dinner and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Couldn’t ask for better service! Plus breakfast was delicious, highly recommend staying with Sophia. We stayed a couple weeks after the earthquake and the property is very safe and has no damage."

"This was a 5-star property. The service was reflective of a high caliber resort. But it’s truly the grounds and view that are amazing. There is nothing like a swim and hot tub on the roof while surrounded by the amazing gorge with the background sound of a rushing river. Not to be missed."
