Excllent service.Old but Gold.
This hotel is rather quite old, but well-kept. My family is having a great time here.the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Will definately recomend this to my family and friends.To the hotel staff, you guys give Tawau a good name! Kudos..

my booking is for 2 person for standard room complimentary with 2 person breakfast..but unfortunately..the room that i booked was fully occupied..than they offering me a deluxe single room..when i and my husband went down for a breakfast they asking me my room no..the lady staff said my room breakfast is only for 1 person...how come...i asked her to double check my booking room at reception counter.after the checking then confirm the breakfast is for 2.

Old Hotel with Good Condition
I've been told that Hotel Marco Polo is one of the oldest hotel in town, almost 30 years old. But its condition is still quite good. The bed was comfortable. But as an old hotel, there was some broken facilities, i.e. the bathub. And the maintenance staff rushed to fixed it. The breakfast was delicious, but not much options. The WiFi was terrible. I stayed at level 4, and I only could get the WiFi from level 5. Most of the time, I couldn't connect to internet because of the bad reception. I have to go to the lobby only to send an email.

中途半端なサービス。ホテルそのものは悪くない。
仕事で4泊しました。部屋はプレミアムフロアーの部屋とかで、広さもそこそこあり掃除も行き届いており快適でした。問題が2つありました(1)部屋に電話機はあるのにホテルの外(市内/市外電話)へ一切つながない、日本の電話会社へのアクセス(即ち、1-800電話=ホテルへの電話代請求なし)でさえ繋ぐのを断られました。この傾向は最近他のホテルでもよくありますが、我々お客への利便性の向上には全く資していない事をホテルとしては理解したがよいのでは?(2)朝のレストランの食事が毎日殆ど冷たい状態でした。サービスする気がないのなら食事の提供そのものを止められては?なぜなら無料ではない訳ですから。中途半端なサービスはない方が良いと思います。
