Greatly enjoyed my stay. Staff about to communicate well and accommodate google translate if needing clarification. Loved the PJs and amenities provided. Very appreciative of a lounge area in the basement. Only thing I would caution is it can get a little hot in the capsules over night.

This was right off the akihabara station, which is super convenient. The carpet looked a little dirty, but outside of that, it was a great experience. It was clean and i felt super safe. Will definitely come back again.

When I first entered the property I was concerned. The property is very small and narrow, and several floors must be navigated by elevator. I was immediately concerned that my luggage had to be stored in the main floor lobby for my stay. Out in the open. The locker they provide is no t large enough for an average sized suitcase. The showers and laundry are on a separate floor from the capsules. Everytime I wanted to get ready, do make up, bath etc… I had to go and retrieve my suitcase from the lobby, travel the elevator and multiple floors. It was quite the workout and inconvenient. After a couple of days, you do figure it out and get a routine and it is not so bad. The capsules are comfortable and have headphones, working TVs. It was nice. For the price and convenience to the train, I would stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quite.

This hotel is located close to akihabara's electric town so it's interesting to see that at a walking distance. The JR station and tokyo metro stations are also right around the corner about a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It is super convenient so I was able to access metro and JR lines. Lockers are located on the same floor as your bed. Shower rooms are on the 1st floor. Area around the lockers is very cramped and it takes a lot of planning to figure out what you need to get from the locker and to the shower room. Sometimes multiple people have to wait to get their turns to use the locker because it gets very crowded and cramped in the small space. Besides that, everything went smoothly. They gave us new pajamas and set of towels every day which was great. Amenities are also available in showers and at the reception desk.

Akehabara Bay Hotel
Akehabara Bay Hotel is close, approximately 4 minu Thee walk, to the Akehabara Train Station. It is a womens only capsule hotel. It was clean and the staff were helpful. Not all staff understand English, but they try very hard to understand and help you when you have an issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel to women.

This isn’t for everyone. I’m happy I was able to experience it. I booked for two night being that I was coming in before check in. I slept for about 3 hours and left early. I tried to sleep when everyone checked out but the workers had to clean so it was hard to sleep. The bed is on the firmer side. Rough for me as a medium to plush mattress sleeper. I’m now realizing this. I didn’t realize I cared so much - until I had to. Pros This is good if you will leave once check out starts daily. If your a heavy sleeper If you plan on just being inside to sleep Cons for me: I like to have my own bathroom. I like to snack/ drink throughout the day. I like to stay in a few hours after a long day or a few hours to plan my day/ work I prefer to not have to go back and forth to a locker to go in my luggage. Def experience it the first night - right after a flight. But if you’re staying long and have concerns like me I recommend a regular hotel room.
