In our second stay at this establishment, we have been particularly impressed by its proximity to the Tokyo Dome and the convenience of nearby attractions such as Akihabara and Shibuya. We typically opt for Hilton or Marriott accommodations due to their exceptional guest service and willingness to exceed expectations but they did not have the dates available for our stay.
For our wedding anniversary celebration, we kindly requested amenities to make our stay truly memorable. However, we were disappointed with the lack of initiative compared to the exceptional service provided by Hilton. The bed was exceptionally hard, causing significant discomfort, especially for individuals with back injuries.
Furthermore, the taxi service arranged for our airport transfer was dishonest. The driver inflated the meter, resulting in a charge of $220 for the ride. Last year, we utilized the same service for a similar trip, and the cost was only $80 for two taxis, with no hidden meter charges. We were also kept awake at night due to the guest above us making all the noise and jumping on the floor. Lastly, during the checkout process, the in-room dining bill was not charged. Upon my return to the United States, I received a message from the hotel requesting my email address to facilitate payment. Before I could respond, another message arrived informing me that my card was being charged without my prior consent. We will skip this hotel on our next visit to Tokyo.
