The hotel was very nice overall. The staff was super helpful nearly all of the time. The room was clean and bright. Housekeepers even folded our laundry. The restaurants are VERY nice (Expensive) and we were very underdressed. Close to transit options to go nearly anywhere. It is a little longer of a walk to elevators. 7/11 is right next door for snacks/drinks and other restaurants are close. We will possibly stay here again, just modify expectations.
My two issues; First, I had booked a room that had 5 beds, but our room only had 4. When I inquired about the "missing" bed, the front desk informed me that there isn't a 5th bed that we could get, and the rooms don't have those. I would not have booked at this hotel if I had known that we were going to have to double bunk every single night. It is frustrating enough to share a bed with a toddler, it is more so on a Twin mattress.
Second, luggage delivery service to the airport. Our first inquiry about it they told us 2 days prior to departure. When we stopped at the front desk to double check 2 days prior, the agent said 1500 the next day would be fine to meet our departure and get luggage to the airport. When we went to drop of our luggage at the new time, we were told that now we couldn't and were supposed to do it the day prior. Now we needed to carry all of our bags for 5 people to Haneda on the trains. Very inconvenient, especially since we were leaving so late and expected to spend the day out in one of the districts.
