We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Edmont. While it's a tad bit far from other touristy areas, there were various train lines to catch within a 10-15 minute walk. Because it was not in a major tourist area, it was also quiet which we valued after a day out in busier areas. The cleaning staff is great making sure we had clean towels and a clean room to go back to.

The hotel was very nice overall. The staff was super helpful nearly all of the time. The room was clean and bright. Housekeepers even folded our laundry. The restaurants are VERY nice (Expensive) and we were very underdressed. Close to transit options to go nearly anywhere. It is a little longer of a walk to elevators. 7/11 is right next door for snacks/drinks and other restaurants are close. We will possibly stay here again, just modify expectations. My two issues; First, I had booked a room that had 5 beds, but our room only had 4. When I inquired about the "missing" bed, the front desk informed me that there isn't a 5th bed that we could get, and the rooms don't have those. I would not have booked at this hotel if I had known that we were going to have to double bunk every single night. It is frustrating enough to share a bed with a toddler, it is more so on a Twin mattress. Second, luggage delivery service to the airport. Our first inquiry about it they told us 2 days prior to departure. When we stopped at the front desk to double check 2 days prior, the agent said 1500 the next day would be fine to meet our departure and get luggage to the airport. When we went to drop of our luggage at the new time, we were told that now we couldn't and were supposed to do it the day prior. Now we needed to carry all of our bags for 5 people to Haneda on the trains. Very inconvenient, especially since we were leaving so late and expected to spend the day out in one of the districts.

I recently stayed at the Metropolitan Edmont Hotel in Tokyo, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The room was clean and comfortable, but at 200 square feet, including the bathroom, the moveable space was tight—even for one person. One thing to note: I wouldn’t recommend taking the train to or from the hotel if you have luggage. The quarter-mile walk with stairs along the way was inconvenient, and I’d advise sticking with a taxi instead—lesson learned. The hotel staff spoke enough English to communicate, but in comparison to other areas around Tokyo, I found their proficiency could have been better. The concierge and front desk were helpful in giving recommendations for places to eat or a nice cafe, but the check-in process was lacking. I wasn’t oriented to how the room worked (which was different from other countries), nor was I informed about the laundry service, gym, where to find ice, the microwave, or the vending machines. I also received no verbal information about the hotel’s restaurants, cafe, or bar. I felt the front desk could have done a better job of making my introduction to the hotel more welcoming and informative. That said, the staff were always polite and willing to help when I asked questions. My room was cleaned when I pressed the button, and a fresh set of pajamas was provided nightly, which was a nice touch. The apps on the TV were plentiful, though I primarily used Netflix, which worked.

Great hotel! Pretty central to Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku area. Train stations were pretty close and very walkable. Hotel staff and service was great! Would recommend and stay again!

Perfect and quiet neighborhood. Metro station were just less than 10 minute walk, both east and west side of hotel. Room were clean. I asked for an upgrade since our first room was a lot smaller and they accommodated to us. Perfect view of city. 10/10

This was an amazing hotel. About 5 minute walk to subway. 1 minute walk to Starbucks and family mart. Literally great hotel. The buffet downstairs was fantastic.

The staff were amazing. Really friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 5 with a lot of luggages and they helped us with our taxi to get to our next destination. Tried to stay an extra day but they were completely booked. Their restaurant was really tasty. Perfect mix of options for everyone to eat. I cannot say enough of how welcoming the front desk and bellmen were. I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely use them again.

The rooms are spacious. The dally room cleaning is wonderful. Breakfast is amazing and they open at 6:30, which is nice when your body is on a much different time zone. The garden plaza has many restaurants and the courtyard is beautiful. I will come back.

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for 2 things. 1) The housekeeping wasn't done with our room until 5 or 5:30 pm each day. . Considering we leave the room at 5 am and return at around 3 pm, there were many days of not getting our room turned over and sky high trash. 2) We had checked out on our last day, leaving our luggage with the hotel. We came back and wanted to eat a quick sandwich in the lobby. Keep in mind we had spent 2 weeks at this hotel, giving them a couple thousand USA dollars. We were told to not eat in the lobby but wasn't offered an alternative area. We told the man (I think a manager - worked Friday Oct. 18th 2024 at around 1 pm), that we had just spent 2 weeks there. Again, he didn't say that we could eat in another area, which is what I’d expect after giving them $2,000 , 2 hours before! We felt like he talked to us and treated us like we were just a couple homeless vagrants! After enjoying our stay for 2 weeks, this left a very bad taste in our mouths and we'll likely never stay there again because of this treatment. There are so many nice hotels nearby. When we got a taxi, the staff was helpful and charming. Shame on the day manager!!!

In a slightly quieter area of Tokyo but within walking distance of several subway stations. Some restaurants and kombinis are also nearby. The hotel was nice and quiet and the room was comfortable but a little tight with 2 suitcases and no space to put them.

Quiet location within walking distance of rail stations. Friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast. Note: contrary to how it is listed, the “Standard room” is DEFINITELY too small for two people (barely enough space for one!). We raised the issue with staff and they were very were very accommodating to move us into a larger room which happened to be available.
