Very nice property in a quieter area of Tokyo. It is extremely accessible to everywhere else though as there are three train stations walking distance, one is next to the hotel and one across the street. The bakery and breakfast buffet is excellent. The room was nice with a great balcony and view. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. They also are able to keep your luggage at the hotel after check out if your flight is later on.

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier, and it was disappointing. While the location is convenient with access to attractions, the hotel itself fell short. Cleanliness was a concern; the room was in poor condition with noticeable dirt, which is unacceptable for this standard. The toilet button wasn't working sometimes. The towel hang stick was broken. The staff and service were equally disappointing, showing little interest in addressing concerns. I didn’t feel welcomed or valued, which detracted from the experience. Dining options were very limited, making it inconvenient when I wanted a meal early in the morning or late at night. In an area like Tokyo, I expected a better food selection. When I asked about breakfast options, I was abruptly told my plan didn’t include it. This was frustrating, as I chose not to include breakfast on purpose. I sometimes eat at the hotel and sometimes don’t, so paying for something I might not use doesn’t make sense. Clear info on how to opt-in would have been helpful. The hotel promotes saving water and reducing waste, but it felt like cost-cutting. If I’m staying at a hotel not pension, I expect toiletries available in the room easily without having to hunt them down. Reducing single-use items is fine, but they should provide larger quantities in each room to minimizing waste without sacrificing the level of service. I wouldn’t recommend it, as there are better options in Tokyo.

Staff are pleasant, courteous and helpful. Hotel is right beside the train stations. There is also an amazing cafe called Excelsior Cafe about 5 minutes walk away where we had breakfast every morning. Overall a nice quieter neighborhood that is a bit away from the busy areas of Tokyo and still central and convenient to get around. Love it

Was a nice hotel. Room was small but it had a good balcony which helped. Good location in Tokyo with a local subway right next door linking up with Shinjuku station and easy walking to Shibuya. Staff were nice. Would have been good to have the bar open more often. We didn’t get to utilise it at all as it seemed to be always closed at key points in the day. Has a great buffet breakfast with both Japanese and European options.

Overall very nice hotel, my partner and I enjoyed our stay. The onsen is nice but you do have to cover up your tattoos, they will provide coverup. We both just wish there was a convenience store near by.

We had 2 separate reservations for this trip. First, in a room without a kitchen and the second part of the trip, a room with a “kitchen”. Both rooms had lovely views of the park which is rare in Tokyo. The room with a “kitchen” had a sink and one stove top without any pots, dinnerware, and cooking utensils so the “kitchen” was basically non functional. The “kitchen” has the same amenities as the rooms that don’t advertise them as the rooms with “kitchen” which is a couple of cups and glasses. I am on a special diet so I wanted to be able to prepare light meals in the room, but I was not able to do so. The “kitchen” space could have been better utilized for a dresser to put our clothing away instead of having to lay them out on a sofa in the room. If you are looking for a functional kitchen, look elsewhere. Paying extra for a room with a “kitchen” is wasting money in my opinion. Otherwise, the hotel is in a good and quiet location for Tokyo.

Great amenities. Everything you would need or might have forgotten to pack and more. Short walk to rail, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and more. Great staff. Awesome coffee venue nearby. Quick walk to Meiji jingu as well.

We had a lovely 2-night stay here in one of the moderate queen rooms. It was sweet and everything we needed. Also the location near the Kokuritsu-kogijo station was perfect for us. Really near Shinjuku so just awesome, we totally could have stayed longer. Staff were friendly and we were able to store our bags after we checked out. Would totally go back.
