"Great price and great views, I love this area of England. The hotel did seem a little dated and the food fairly overpriced. However the breakfast was great! Spacious rooms however not much amenities in the rooms and the shower gel etc is horrible. Dont use it. Use your own. "

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. Breakfast was ordered and freshly served in the main dining hall. You could tell the produce was fresh and locally sourced. Very appetising. In all a very enjoyable evening and overnight stay. The location is quiet and off the beaten track which was perfect for my needs. "
