The hotel itself was quite nice. The lobby area was a fun hangout place being so colourful and including a lot of fun stuff like a pool table, bar, and coffee/snack area. The staff was fantastic and so very friendly and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. The real issue was with the physical location of the hotel. During our stay, we could hear loud music from across the street well into the night, then were awoken at some point in the night to a number of police sirens and cars screeching in to the same area across the street. This did not inspire a feeling of safety, and I really needed a good nights sleep as we were driving all day the following morning. Maybe we were simply unlucky since it was just one night, but other reviews seem to chronicle a similar experience. Unfortunately I needed a room near the Magnolia Silos that I could afford and this was the only one available. Next time I come to Waco I would consider another hotel if it was available and affordable.

Barking dog in hotel
Dog barking woke us up early morning and continued to bark floor above us or down hall? Went on for hours. Would have given 5 stars as everything else excellent. Why do you have to allow dogs? Ours stays home on trips as so rude to wake up and diatribe others .

Friendly front desk, dirty room
The front desk gal was so friendly and sweet! Our room and our friends room left much to be desired. The chair in my room had hair and crumbs all over it. The fridge in our friends room was full of leftovers from the previous guests. When simple things are overlooked in the cleaning process, it makes you wonder what else they overlooked. Would not stay here again.

The property is newer but the rooms are small and awkwardly designed. Examples: the bathroom has a sliding door with a gap at the wall so there is no privacy and no noise blocker/fan. There isnt a good place to put towels by the shower. Instead of a side chair by the bed, there is a flat beanbag. The area around the hotel is a little rough; in the middle of the night there was screaming in the hallway which made us wonder what kind of patrons were there. In short, for the price, there are better options in Waco.

Hotel is still new and very well kept! The staff was incredibly kind. They had a live musician playing guitar when we walked in. Lovely place!
