It's a 2 star hotel at best
The hotel staff is friendly but service policies aren't good and hotel condition is probably suffering from years of under investment. Hotel rooms are dates (its 2 stars at best). The hotel does not provide room cleaning everyday. No wonder we had cockroaches in the room. Even after complaining three successive times about cockroaches in the kitchenette and bathroom, cleaning was not provided everyday. To be fair they did come twice and bug spray. However, with two little kids in the room, it made for a terrible experience with bug spray around. While closing the curtain, the hooks and the rod came off. It was all rusted & clearly very dated. Location is convenient but heads up, room can get really noisy since its on the main street.

Well, this is a nice property and I hate to be the guest who leaves a bit negative comment. The hotel advertised an upsell room with partial ocean view and 2x queen beds, and I paid a higher price for it. But upon arrival, the front desk told me they actually have such a room. They basically misrepresented the property. They offered me the following choice: either get a room with two queen size beds that looks directly at a gas station, or keep the room with partial ocean view and sleep on a crib or sofa bed… so I picked the one with some view, and the entire time there I slept on a squeaky sofa bed. I wouldn’t have written this here if the hotel had at least made a concession and reduced the price since they gave me basically a cheaper room- but no, they elected to charge me resort fees and didn’t make any attempts to remedy their own mistake. The management didn’t even reach out to apologize- it was only the lady from the front desk who dealt with me. Guess they didn’t really want me as a return customer!! Needless to say, I plan to grant them this wish, and I will not be returning to this resort. There are so many hotels on Oahu. I hope your silence was worth it.

there was a fire in the hotel while we were there - hotel offered nothing as we were kicked out of our room for a few hours as we were trying to check out. this led us to miss one of our tours that afternoon and messed up our entire day, and hotel didn’t even apologize. terrible handling of the entire situation.

Loved the vintage furniture in our room. Loved the view. Very clean and family friendly. Perfect location. Beautiful giant Christmas tree in the lobby that my baby loved. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee bar & water station in the lobby. Staff was very friendly from the valet, front desk, and housekeeping.

It’s to much noise, and the first night we sleep in the room found it a big cockroach and also in my son room the mattres cover it’s very dirty with blood. Im definitely not going to comeback. Spend 6 days for vacation but this is not relax place

The hotel itself is quite nice. It's clean, the staff is helpful and it is close to stores, food, etc. However, the area where the hotel is situated is very noisy! There's a lot of general traffic noise, emergency vehicle sirens in the middle of the night and people revving their motorcycles at the gas station right beside the hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly. The location was great for enjoying the beach and shopping nearby. The room and kitchen were spacious, and there were plenty of convenient amenities in the private room, such as a microwave, a large refrigerator and freezer, a coffee maker, and a washer and dryer. However, the building overall felt a bit old, and the washer didn’t seem very clean. While the details felt slightly lacking, considering the price, it was a satisfying stay.

We stayed as a family of four with two kids and found the location very convenient. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the beach, with plenty of food options within a 5–15 minute walk. Parking is $40 overnight, which felt pricey but is standard for the area. Street parking is very hard to find, so using the hotel’s valet was worth it. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but it offers some useful amenities like a laundry room, beach towels, and filtered water in the lobby. Be aware that additional resort fees are due at check-in and aren’t included in the upfront booking price. Overall, it’s an affordable and convenient option.

Okay for the price. Black mold dripping down from the shower water handles was our only issue. Had dishes, excellent toaster oven, silverware and cooking dishes - was wonderful! Ask for blankets - none come with the room … just sheets. Not bad. Good location.
