the property is nice and in a great location. it is out of the way, but close to everything when you go out. The shower was nice the water gets and stays hot. The bed and pillows was comfortable. The air conditioner was super cold had to turn it off. I used the small weight room but the treadmill worked fine and the room was clean. I didn't use the pool are but it appeared to be clean. I would stay hear again.

Everyday we see cleaning and it was a nice cheap place to stay, I felt so safe and the bed was so comfy and pillows were like clouds

Budget stay, satisfactory condition
The price is right. The amenities and services are pretty underwhelming, but the beds are comfortable, and the A/C can turn the room into an icebox if you want it. I got what I payed for and expected. When I was there, the elevator certification had lapsed, and it seemed like it was in questionable condition, as a heads up. My room also had a broken bathroom fan.

damaged...
I showed up only to find out they couldn't find my reservation apparently a conformation number was needed instead of a transaction number which is the only number that was provided by hotels.com. When I did get a room they charged my card 3 different times and still to this day it hasn't been credited! I had to change rooms 2 times because the door was warpped and wouldn't shut, the tv was broken and wouldnt' work, there was mold in the room.

This was the worse experience! First room 2 sets of keys still wouldn't open, second room no air conditioning (safety Hazard) 3rd room ice machine broke and of course all on different floor, took over an hour! Not one apology, Morning staff and breakfast not one person spoke English. Does not have buffet. They bring you a plate and the food was cold and all mixed on plate! YUK! Would NOT recommend this place horrible experience!

Looks old and run down. Towels and washcloths were dirty looking. No telephones to call for room service, safety concern. The ice machines did not work on every floor except by front desk in the lobby. Smelled like cigarette smoke.

Property was old and needed repairs and updates. Staff was not knowledgeable, except for the security guy who seemed to be the only one who knew what to do. No ice in the whole facility. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6:30 but nothing was ready by 6:45 so we had to skip it and eat on the road. Do not recommend at all. If you're staying in the Birmingham area, choose another hotel.

No shower curtain?
The bath/shower had no curtain. How’s that happen. Place is very dated. Breakfast wasn’t much which was ok but server never responded or acknowledged us.

My room was not properly cleaned or sanitized. The pillow cases needed to be replaced with newer/cleaner cases. (Stains) The room smelled awful so bad that I had to open a window. Lucky I was on the second floor cause I would not open a window on the first floor within this area.
