The Davis Corner Wing is so clean and well maintained from the moment you walk into the building. Our room is unbelievablely clean and so nice. That says alot about the staff, the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff is also great and helpful. This is my wife and I first trip to Thailand, we own a travel agency that only handles Bali and have had many people ask us about Thailand. The part that impressed us the most is that the people here do not know that so this is just as our guest would experience this. We have been greeted with a smile everytime we see a staff member here. Truly makes you feel welcome. The owner of the Davis Corner Inn sound be very proud of the staff here. Thanks for a great stay...

Really nice place to stay. We stayed over new years and they had a party with drinks included that guests could attend which was amazing. Take note it is a bit of a walk to public transport but easily accessible to tuk tuk and taxis

Make no mistake, the Davis is great value and most staff really do their best. Over the years it has become a little tired. However, services and staffing have improved since Covid. New furniture at the pool is terrible. Pool area needs a refresh and redesign. Smoking at the pool might be something to reconsider, either that or don’t allow children. Given how many times we have stayed at the Davis, a “Welcome back” would be nice. The breakfast was acceptable but boring. A return of the omelette bar would be great. Location is convenient but hotel transportation planning, systems and service needs improvement. Bathrooms are large and well designed but need to be refreshed. What’s great? Staff are generally very helpful and full of smiles. Location is walking distance to Big C and the BTS and MRT! Rooms are fabulously decorated and appointed.

We stayed in the 3BR villa with pool side and to start, it was more like a toe dipping pool when the leaves were not filling it up. The pictures (room and otherwise) made it seem otherwise, in advance. The property is OLD and needs an upgrade and is no value for money. We stayed 3 nites and then came back 1 final nite and significantly overpaid. The downstairs kitchen and dining area was old and dated, cooker rusty, etc. The entire villa was dusty and mildewy and my wife who has allergies couldn't stop sneezing from the time we arrived. The toilets were horrible requiring 3-4 flushes to get rid of my "stuff" - taking 15 minutes on average if lucky. Not the way I expected to spend my holiday. The bathttub drain when in would not hold the water in the tub and to remove it for a shower required a kitchen knife to wedge it out. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink making shaving quite challenging. Also hot water ran out quite quickly. The doors to the upstairs balcony in the villa would not shut properly allowing for mosquitos to easily infiltrate. The property was also quite noisy, not from the neighborhood, but likely from the nightclub or otherwise, with people's voices being heard until 3-4am most nights of our stay. Paying over $2000 for a family of 7 for 4 nites was NOT worth it at all. The breakfast, while cheap, lacked any type of appetizing food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING.

I booked the ambassador room for two nights to end our long stay in Thailand with my family. The hotel never provided clear check in instructions. There’s a main wing and a corner wing which are two separate buildings. The corner wing lobby had a disgusting and overwhelming smoke and musty smell (despite the no smoking signs). The room was relatively clean and livable for two nights. But when we turned on the AC, there was an even worse musty smell, the water smelled bad too. My whole family felt our eyes stinging, watering, and turning red by the morning due to the AC. Another thing worth mentioning is that this the first hotel in Thailand that charged us extra for water bottles and took 1 hour to bring it to the room. Also, no one helped us with our luggage during check in or check out. Finally, the staff is incompetent. We asked them to book us a cab for an airport drop off. Our flight was at 8am and we wanted to leave by 5. One of the day staff had offered to let us pay the cab company through the hotel with credit card, we had confirmed this with 2 different staff members throughout the day. We wanted to avoid paying cash as we didn’t want to withdraw more. The morning of, the new front desk guy says that isn’t possible and we had to pay with cash. He was extremely slow and unhelpful, we ended up leaving at 5:30 because of him and also had to stop at a ATM on the way. The miscommunication within the staff is ridiculous and caused a lot of last minute problems for us.
