Low budget motel and manager didn’t care

No Global Edmonton Chanel
No accurate TV guide
Remote needed batteries
Door lock sticks and door would not lock, unknown to the guest unless you double check the actual handle
Hot Water ern smells and tastes like coffee
Hotel in general HOT. Therefore you have to run AC than smells like mold/musty smell
Hallway continuously smelt like marijuana day and night.

The room wasn’t cleaned very well. Behind tv there is dirt, garbage, ear plugs. Bathroom also, floor was dirty. No bed bugs though, so that’s a plus. We noticed plastic covering smoke detector and told front desk. Outside there is garbage all over parking lot and grassy areas. So yeah, not the best, but ok for sleeping.
Oh and pool was not open, which we weren’t told about.

Decent for the cost

We did not receive proper service for cleaning of our room. I had to ask for towels and garbage taken out. No one would come and clean the room when we asked.

Great hotel to stay in, staff is very friendly. Clean rooms. Bathroom can use a bit more attention to cleanliness but however is great.
