Nice location, needs a reno

The hotel is located in a central area and has nice staff. The rooms are dated and the carpets badly worn. Likely won't stay there again until its renovated. Good coffee and breakfast.

It’s a nice spot. I specifically went for the hot tub, but there were at least 10 unsupervised children around at all times. At one point, when the hot tub was finally free, 3 boys just stood there and watched me undress to get into the hot tub. It was really weird and I had to leave because one of the kids tried to then get into the hot tub with me and it super tiny. It was very uncomfortable. The fitness room is nice but it was in view of the hot tub and had kids running around it at all times.

Check in was smooth and reception was lovely. They made our dogs feel welcome, giving each a gift bag with a ball, treats, poop bags and an into sheet with pet friendly ideas. One of our dogs carried her new ball on a 6km walk. Room is clean and comfortable, and the shower has good water pressure and nice toiletries. The room has a coffee maker with tea, coffee and bottled water. We had a great evening walking the dogs around Halifax and a very comfortable stay.

I liked the easy parking at the front doors for unloading our bags and checking in. The underground parking was also very convenient, though they could put a sign pointing to the door that you could see from a bit further maybe? I wasnt sure where the entrance door was until i saw someone coming out of it and noticed it is 1 door for in/out. I will definitely be staying here again, nice rooms and clean washroom. I like that there is a microwave, sink, and coffee station in your room too. Only downside was that the elevator to the parking was out of order this morning so i had to make 3 trips up and down the stairs with our bags and baby, otherwise it was a great stay :)
