The family woke up early the next morning because the beds were uncomfortable and they were ready to get out of there. The rooms were very dated and there were limited amenities. It was definitely a reminder for us to read the reviews better next time.

This was a very basic accommodation, stiff beds and no frills in the room (no tv, extra linens, coffee pot etc). Safe and clean, though with writing on the walls and lots of dust. Staff were kind.

No kitchen facilities in room. No internet access or tv. Very small bathroom which had an opening at the back wall where we could clearly hear neighbours but at least it wasn’t a shared bathroom. Thin walls.

The place was bare bones and simple, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was no heat so I had to use the extra blanket they provided. A cross between a motel and a hostel is a great way to describe it. Private room with shared everything else. That’s all I needed.

Great location, friendly staff. On the older side of things, but ok for our needs. Staff really helpful, took us to the door to showed us how to use entry lock, then took us upstairs explaining things on the way. Also found an extension lead for us to be able to use the heater. Suggest a blind in the bathroom for privacy and keeping warlth in.

Reader you should keep looking. Overpriced for what you get. Oversold on the website. Free wifi but free to everyone close enough to the inn so you can’t actually get a signal. No tv, no tea and coffee and no hot water. We were lucky enough to get a “bathroom” in the room. The place is extremely dated. We should have looked at other options.

Expedia fell victim to a scam with the misrepresented "Horse & Jockey Inn," which was not a proper lodging establishment but rather a makeshift accommodation within a second-floor strip mall converted into sleeping quarters. The room had minimal amenities, with only two ceiling light bulbs, one outlet that we could find and no bedside light. Laundry facilities were subpar, with a functioning washer but a broken dryer. Restrooms were communal, located down the hall from our room, and were dirty and moldy. The lack of basic necessities like toilet paper required direct intervention with the front desk. Additionally, parking was inadequate, and there were no elevators available.
