We stayed at Christmastime and counted this as a "budget" stay. First the PROS: Great location, clean room & property, good water pressure in shower, cold mini fridge/freezer, beach towels available, parking easy to find, friendly staff. The CONS: Room location in building- head of bed was against the wall with the elevators directly behind, was very loud and rattled everytime the elevators were being used, this will be the same on all floors if the room ends in "06", we never had a good night's sleep. This is supposed to be a non-smoking property but the people below us to the left smoked on the lanai multiple times a day- smoke went right into our room. We notified staff but since it was a privately owned unit there was nothing they could do. They couldn't move us because there were no vacancies. We reserved a room with a king size bed, city view but the room had what seemed like a double bed, maybe a small queen, with peek-a-boo Diamond Head and ocean views, bed was very uncomfortable for 2 adults. TV had limited channels and no info. to tells us the guide channel, took awhile to find it ourselves. There was no lighting whatsoever in kitchenette/closet/mirror area, couldn't see enough to utilize, especially at night. The parking garage was extremely tight and difficult to maneuver through, small SUV barley cleared it. All that said, it was a good value, we would stay again in a different room.

Its basically the equivalent to Motel. Small pool. slow elevators. No exclusive guest parking. Also parking is not included with your stay. You hear every loud muffler, every truck with bass, every fire cracker and every siren.

The room was fairly small and particularly bathroom layout was terrible. You could pretty much not get out of the shower before without not couching the bathroom seat. Also, while we reserved the room for four (2 adults and 2 kids) we had to often chase the staff to put the right number of towel after housekeeping. The never got it right. Finally, the extra fees for "resort" (i.e. beach towels, ~$30 a day) and parking ($40 a day) with no guaranteed parking and very crammed and awkward spots seem too much to me. Maybe that is common in that area, but still, be warned. The A/C was also weird, it was either full blast or none, so while it did its job, it was very challenging to not be dreaded by its chilly blast. The sheets were ok, but the fitted sheets were extremely tight and hence popped out multiple times. The great plus was having a balcony where kids could sit and have their breakfast or look at the pigeons, etc. stopping by for the crumbs. We will probably not stay here again.

Great location!
What I like the most about the hotel is the location. It's close to the lagoon and the beach and is convenient to get to and from.The building is relatively older but is well mantained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult because one has to drive up the building and you better be a good driver, or else you will hit the building columns as it is tight!! So definitely not for people who are not good drivers parking in the building.

We have a pleasant stay at Aqua Palm Waikiki. It is very close to beaches and close to dining areas. My kids love it.

Perfect location and economical
Had to stay one extra day in Honolulu and the aqua palms was perfect! Clean, comfy and great location. Bathroom shower could use a little upgrade but other than that it was great!

The “automatic lock” system of the door is broken, and every ten minutes, there is a sound similar to the door being unlocked. At first, we were terrified, thinking someone was trying to open our door. The first night, we couldn’t sleep at all because of the noise. The next day, I asked for it to be repaired, but no one came all day. That evening, someone came to check but said they couldn’t fix it and would call a technician the next day. However, six nights passed, and no one came to repair it. Eventually, we had no choice but to get used to it. The room is right next to a busy street, so it gets extremely noisy if the windows are not closed. Also, we booked the room for four people, but housekeeping only provided two towels every other day. If we wanted extra towels, we had to call the housekeeper, and it would take half an hour for them to deliver. In terms of service, I’d give it 2 stars.

We were on the 6th floor and with the sliding glass door shut tight there was a lot of noise from the traffic on the street until late at night.

Central location for most spots and most tours have this hotel as a pick uo spot. Beach is closeby and all shopping and eateries ate all walking distance. Very convenient. Hotelnstaff very friendly.

The hotel was located close to restaurants and stores. The market had affordable food and awesome gifts. The hotel staff is very friendly and our room was very comfortable. Will definitely use this hotel again!
