I arrived at 2 pm and checked in at 220 PM although they could’ve had the courtesy to check me in but they charged 1000 yen for just 40 minutes early check in. Anyway.

Front desk

I received a message from the front desk only two and a half hours after checkin started claiming that if I don’t message them with my approximate checkin time they will cancel my reservation. I also reserved a non-smoking room. The first room I was given horribly smelled of smoke. I had to go back to get a different room.

Thank you for staying with us.The guests who don't tell us their approximate arrival time, or who are late from their arrival time over 2 hour without notice may be considered as No-Show.We sent the message "When will you arrive at our hotel?" 8 minutes before your check-in.You didn't let us know your arrival time in advance, so we didn't know when you would arrive here.By the way, we are sorry for feeling uncomfortable due to the smell in your previous room.

This property was excellent although the rooms are very small. Clean, central, and lots of food options.

Two train stations within 5 minute walk. Escalator and elevator to assist those unable to walk up steps. The bed mattress very comfortable. Only comment on daily Buffet Breakfasts is that the only fruit available was sliced oranges.
