Checking in was good. No issues, fairly quick. The room only has the under-window AC unit, no other environmental control, which means the bathroom only gets its heat or AC from the room. The bathroom overhangs the parking area I think so there is no insulation under that side of the room which made the floor freezing, and we left the bathroom closed all night which made it an ice box in the morning. The shower was able to warm it up a bit, but the floors were ice. Breakfast was from 6-9, we got there at 8:40 and it was non existent. The front desk said they would not restock it either. So maybe if you get there early enough you could get food. Disappointing that you look for a hotel with “breakfast included”, pay a bit more than others to get that amenity and then dont get it. Oh well. I wasnt going to make a big deal. Would rather them not waste food putting some out just for us. Beds were decent. Of course you get what you pay for. Rest of the hotel was not exactly like the pictures. They make it look much better than it really is, but its bot awful.

You get what you pay for with this one
The hotel was great for the price. The neighborhood however was not great. But has gated parking and never felt unsafe. Thin walls so loud neighbors was an issue late at night. Easy and fast uber rides available to French Quarter

While this property was rated lower prior to my check in, I was pleasantly surprised. I found the place to have adequately attempted updates, but having quality staffing and convenience for those out of town. Way to go.

Awesome stay
We were greeted by a friendly front desk. The room was clean, beds were awesome. It helped to have wash basin outside of bathroom. Secured parking was a bonus!

What you'd expect with a friendly twist.
The Pros: Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Secure parking in gated lot. Quiet. The Cons: Dated property. Thin towels. Limited "breakfast." Sketchy neighborhood!
