This is a super cute hotel. "No frills" isn't the correct term for it, it's the highest tier hotel, but I felt very cozy there. The rooms are small but extremely comfortable. There was housekeeping daily, there was entertainment (pool table and games) at the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet very close to the Norfolk outlets.

I always have a great experience staying at these hotels! The beds are always comfortable! I also really love that they have shampoo, conditioner and lemon soap in your shower. This is super handy if you forget these items when you travel.

The Mobile check in is such a great feature. We were able to go straight to our room. The room was compact, but had everything we needed. It was clean and extremely comfortable. Located near lots of restaurants and shopping. The staff was amazing!

Property is nice. Rooms are sleek and the staff were very nice. Only complaint is they have eliminated coffee in the rooms. I think they should rethink that decision. It requires a trip to the lobby first thing in the morning.

Hotel was advertised as tub/shower combo but they have very few rooms with a tub which is essential for me for pain management. The rooms are way too basic for the cost: you have to squeeze bottles to get soap, shampoo out, go to lobby to use a microwave, and mattresses were soooo hard I barely slept. The bed spread had a weird texture and was very itchy. There were visibly loose at the base of the shower. They have tiny garbage cans with dividers for recycling, the money would be better spent elsewhere. If I could have, I would have definitely booked elsewhere and will avoid Tru brand at all costs.
