I love the waffles here! Clean place and friendly staff. Beautiful dining area with giant windows. Nice sized room and definitely coming back again!

Bad experience
We’ve stayed here on 2 occasions. The first time the card reader was broke so it was chaos. We gave it a second try. We checked into our room and it appeared the sheets had not been changed. They claimed it was an old stain but it was on the mattress pad also. Our next room had red lipstick or nail polish on the comforter. It stinks cause it’s a great location.

Most chaotic check-in I have ever experienced. Card keys were not working at the time of our check-in. I felt badly for the guy working at the front desk. He was obviously frazzled and gave his resignation before the end of the night. We had to download the app to use our phones to unlock the door to our room. The other option was to have frazzled front desk guy walk us up and unlock it himself. Spent 20 minutes setting app up with front desk, go up to room and door still does not unlock. Dude had to come unlock it for us anyway. Room seemed reasonably clean. Slept fine. Came home with what appear to be bedbug bites. Ten or so. Thanks for a great experience Hampton Inn. Won't be staying again.

An unexpected garbage pit.
Used to be our go-to in Portland. No longer. This hotel is dirty. And it isn't properly cleaned. Not properly vacuumed. Poorly maintained. Found a discarded shrimp tail on the carpet. Mentioned to front desk first thing in the morning. Still there that night. And the next day. Dirty from top to bottom and no measurable effort to clean. Don't stay here. Find somewhere else.

We continue to book this hotel time and time again. It's not the most luxurious, but it's consistent and has a nice warm pool and spa, which is a must when traveling with young children. The breakfast is okay, consisting of 4 options, waffles, bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, or continental.

The jets in hot tub were not working waited a total of a half hour for them to come help and maintenance would look at it in the morning. No apology no nothing. Plus when checking in they couldn't find my reservation no apology there either

Everything was great. Only problem is I thought it said 125 on Expedia for the room. Then add on was another twenty dollars. When I got there the guy kinda chuckled and said I got the room I reserved cause it was cheaper and I said it was bigger and gave me a different room and was charged 195 or something. Other than that great place.
