The staff at Kvosin are exceptional - very helpful and friendly! We had a very early morning arrival and they were ready for us, making it super easy to check-in and get settled after a long day of travel. Great location and nice amenities, would highly recommend.

Lovely place in downtown Reykjavik, so close to the city centre, shops, and fantastic restaurant. The room was very warm when we went in, but easy to correct by turning it radiators off! Everything was spotless.

Location, location, location. Fine dining and stores within walking distance. One caveat is you will hear the church bell every hour on the hour (which will be a challenge for all properties in the surrounding area) so keep that in mind. Windows are pretty thick the distinct bell sound is hard to not notice. Regardless, the property is in an ideal location central to everything in the downtown area.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Kvosin Downtown hotel. Easy walk to numerous restaurants and shopping and the tour busses stop. The room size was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Kitchenette was also convenient to have. Staff was friendly and our unit was very clean.

All good things about this hotel. - Great location - Kitchen is small but good enough for small cooking - Comfortable bed - Amazing heating system - Good amount of shelves to store things - So close to restaurants, stores, and some attractions. These things can be reminded - This hotel does not have a private parking lot. But parking fee can be validated by the hotel front desk. - Parking right in the front of the hotel is very limited especially after dinner time. Park early! - No body lotion or face soap <-- Maybe this is common in European hotels. Overall it was a great stay!

The Kvosin was absolutely perfect for us! The room was beautiful and felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Having the balcony was incredible to get some outdoor space too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. In terms of location I really don’t believe there’s a better placement in downtown Reykjavík. You’re right in the centre of things but without any noise from nightlife. Everything major is incredibly walkable and you have key bus stops just around the corner which makes excursion pickups and general travel exceptionally easy. We’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone visiting Reykjavík. Couldn’t have been better.
