Dingy, scuffed, and generally unwelcoming.
In desperate need of TLC. All the walls were chipped, scuffed, with paint cracking. Very dingy and unwelcoming feel. It’s cleared an older hotel which is fine, but it’s not well maintained. Light from outside that you can’t turn off shines through the window at night even with the curtain. Had an issue at check in and the staff member didn’t feel very empathetic or like he was working towards a solution. Said the issue was due to a hotel policy, it was not one listed anywhere I could find on the policies on this site. Asked to speak to a manager, was simply told there was no one available. Wasn’t offered any follow ups. Hotel restaurant was closed for dinner for 17 days, was not made aware prior to check in. Credit card was charged a hold for incidentals without the staff member informing us how much the hold was. We had to ask. Overall very disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. Although the exterior of the hotel is somewhat dated, the suites have been renovated and are modern and upscale. This is an executive suite hotel so our room had a full sized fridge and was more like a one bedroom apartment. We had a drip coffee maker and free coffee! Pool and mini jaccuzi were great and because it was low season we had them all to ourselves! Hotel and room were both very clean and I would recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting the city or on a staycation. And it's in walking distance of a bunch of restaurants and other amenities as the area has been developed a bunch.

Got a great deal through Expedia means getting room attached to elevator apparently. Not sure what the staff were thinking when they started moving stuff in and out of the elevator at 5:30 in the morning, they were very friendly when I popped my head out the door to ask why now? Oh well, who wants to sleep in while on vacation?

It was overall a great place to stay. I didn’t realize they charge for parking and that was unexpected since they have quite a big lot to park. Was a little far from where we wanted to be, but overall just to sleep in the night and sightsee during most of the day the place was more than adequate. Clean room and had all the Amenities we wanted.

Waited for 30 minutes for check in, no apologies or explanation. The button in the elevator didn’t work for our floor, so after waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes had to take the stairs. Rooms are dated, scratches, marks and chips on every wall in our room. Our floor reeked of weed when we came up the stairs. Overall a very gross hotel, stay somewhere else.
