The manager looked putout when I was checking in. The first room they gave us was occupied. The second room was uncleaned and same with the third. Manager stated we would get a discount, never got one. I would be shocked if it was an open a year from now, if it wasn’t for location it would get a 0. The only thing good was mikes seafood. Never stay here.

we stayed at the family suite and it was really nice definitely a good experience on the downside we went to the pool around 9pm and there was a light fixture that came out from inside the pool wall and I was concerned about the safety of my family being in the pool with that and it didn’t seem like the staff cared after I pointed it out to them and the doors to the hotel that slide open were really noisy while we were in the room since we were right above them we constantly thought someone was knocking on the room door and there was always nothing other than that it was an awesome experience in the room but the hotel itself was a little run down.

Bayvue should be Remodeled or Torn Down
From my experience with Seaside Hotels I know to keep the bar low for quality but Bayvue Hotel was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I truly hope they are in the middle of a remodel or is in process of being condemned because the hotel is in dire shape. The Ground Level Button was broken in the elevator. Carrying luggage was challenging but this was also a major safety concern / code violation. We stayed on the 1st / 100 Level Floor. This is the same level as the Pool. The door to the pool area was left wide open so the entire floor was very humid / muggy. I’m unsure if this was related but the floors in our room were wet. Awful Paint / Touch Up on the walls. Throughout the hotel were terrible touch-ups / blotchy paint jobs. Cables hanging from the ceiling in the stairwell. As I stated before, the ground level elevator button was broken. Access between the Ground Level and First Floor was mostly on the stairs. There were cables hanging from the ceiling in the stairwell. This is a major safety concern. Trim / Edges on the stairs and Room Doorways. Uneven Trim / Edges on the stairwells made for great trip hazards. The Trim entering our room was raised up high enough to make it difficult to move the luggage cart into the room. Either Bayvue does not have the time to properly maintain their hotel or is too cheap to hire the work out. Whatever the reason, the craftsmanship in the hotel is awful and is unsafe for occupancy.

This is not a nice hotel. The photos online are very misleading. It's a dirty place and the staff is terrible. Power in the room was intermittent. Cannot express how disappointed we were and at $260 a night a total rip off

Finishing touches are all lacking here. Trim, paint, curtains in good repair etc. Nice rooms and staff. Breakfast was fantastic as was all the help at the hotel. Rooms need TLC and a few real glasses for the bathroom.

Our unit overall was 4 of 5. The place was clean, the A/C worked well, the water pressure and the rain shower were top notch. The little living quarters next to the king bed was a pleasant surprise. The mattress was average 3 of 5.

Grimy around the edges
BayVue is typical of a re-branded national chain property (Holiday Inn built in the 70's) Property requires a lot of maintenance, looks like they are trying, it is clean but a little grimy around the edges. Beds were comfortable, air-conditioning worked well and plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast room is a bit of a problem. Coffee area is in a narrow hallway that leads to stairwell, it's very difficult to navigate. Tables are all sticky with syrup from the 'make your own waffle bar'
