I’ve stayed at other Four Points properties for business trips and thought this one would be of the same quality. This property does not meet the standards of the Sheraton/Marriott brand. The hotel is located in an area surrounded by poorly maintained establishments and doesn’t appear safe. The overall aesthetic appears cheap and quickly built. The beds are absolutely horrible. Mattresses are placed on what sounds to be old, rusty box springs that make noise even when leaning without full body weight or placing luggage on it. When I arrived, it was evident that the laminate floor in the room and bathroom had not been swept nor mopped. The front desk staff, Ms Vee, apologized, provided a complimentary meal ticket, and ensured that they would clean the next morning. When leaving the next morning, the lady who relieved Ms Vee also told me that she knew about the situation and it would be taken care of. I returned from my work site later that evening and the room nor floors had not been touched. I reported it to Ms. Emily who also apologized, provided a complimentary meal ticket, and said she would report the incident to the operations manager. Ms. Vee, Ms. Emily, the other front desk lady on dayshift, Mr. Arthur, Mr. John, the other shuttle driver, and the young lady who works with Mr Arthur in the bistro were absolutely wonderful. However, the housekeeping staff ruined the great service and service recovery that they attempted to provide.
