Perfect Stay at Plaza Inn & Suites
Had a perfectly delightful experience at The Plaza Inn. Check-in was quick and easy with friendly front desk staff. Room was large and sparkling clean, with an unbelievably comfy King bed. The Inn’s location is the best! Kept our car parked at the Inn and walked everywhere in town…..so convenient. The Inn is located in a lovely garden setting, making for a lovely stay. Will definitely stay here every time we are in Ashland. Highly recommend!

Everything was great about the stay except that their water heater had broke down and there was no heated water. I took a cold shower in the morning! The Assistant Manager, Melissa, said she could not refund me any money since I went through Expedia(Hotels.com) and only offered that she MAY be able to give me a discount if I stayed there on another date, but that was a "maybe" and was only because I asked about it. Compensation was not voluntarily offered and she admitted that it had to be asked for. In my case, going through a second party, I am told "I would have been able to give you a refund, had you not gone through Expedia. ...I could refund them but they will not give that money to you." It just seems wrong that a hotel that boasts high quality services could not at least give a discount on the next stay, not just a "maybe"

Perfect location for our visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Staff were incredibly helpful. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the theaters. Lovely creekside patio garden area for relaxing, reading or just enjoying.

I like the spacious room and how convenient it is to walk to restaurant and shopping. My room was unfortunately under the staircase and I heard people stomping up and down the stairs all hour of day & night. Also, the room above me had very noisy guests. I called the office at 12:15am one night and got no answer. My last day, it sounded like someone was moving furniture upstairs. I called the office to learn nobody was above me. Haunted room? Regardless, the noise was too much to sleep.

Weeknight stay - was quiet and convenient to downtown. Restaurants and theaters close by. Breakfast options limited for vegetarians and vegans. No fruit available the second morning and only bananas the first. Hash browns not a favorite. We have stayed here in the past and will likely make it a habit!

Chose this hotel because it said they had electric vehicle parking but you had to go down to the scary basement that was basically impossible to drive out of without scratching your car and then only had Tesla chargers.

Close to Shakespeare plays, easy access to many restaurants. Free breakfast quality was very low— eggs were not real and other food was iffy/cheap substitutes, except biscuits and gravy was OK. Staff all seemed unhappy and not very helpful. Nice-sized room. Room AC was OK but loud. Parking easy, in shade, and free.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and when I walked into my room after check in and smelt smoke, I immediately called the desk. I was immediately moved into a different room without hassle. The upgraded room had a fireplace but it didn’t work, sadly. The only negative is the underground parking. It’s dark. The sharp turn to get out isn’t easy either. However, I felt my car full of college student’s belongings was safe in the underground area. I’d stay here again.
