"We stayed at the Delegate because it was only a mile from Buffalo Trace Distillery where we were going the next day. Really cool older building that has been refurbished. Rooms were huge and well decorated. Beds were very comfortable. There was a restaurant/bar that was pretty cool as well. Great selections of bourbon at the bar. The dining was closing as we got there, but they offered to make up some appetizers for us. We had the poutine and calamari. Both were good. We will likely stay there again since it’s so close to Buffalo Trace and not too far from the Louisville and Bardstown regions for the Bourbon Trail."

"We were very impressed with this hotel. The room was in great shape and the breakfast was very good. It included a type of egg, sausage, biscuit/gravy, pancakes, cereal, etc. We had an issue with being given a wrong room upon check in but the lady at the desk was wonderful and was able to get us the correct room. She handled the situation very well!"
