Book a hotel near Bloody Bay Beach, Negril

"This resort is incredibly unique - giving you the experience of the tropical “forest” feel and the beauty of the beach. We had a room towards the back of the property and fell asleep every night to the sounds of the Jamaican tree frogs and woke to the sounds of the birds. The first night we were worried we wouldn’t sleep but it was soothing. We loved the setting, it was like our own little oasis on our porch. I spent a lot of time reading on the daybed out there. One morning it was raining and I laid on the daybed reading while listening to the rain (and staying dry). It was the most relaxing experience. The staff are incredible- one of the gardeners created a bouquet of flowers for me just because. My only wish is that the coffee bar opened a little earlier, that coffee is amazing and while I could make coffee in the room, it wasn’t nearly as good as the coffee at the coffee bar. We were there for a week and the second half of the week it seemed to get busier - the best spots on the beach filled up early (by 7:30). We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!"

"We stayed at Hideaway at Royalton Negril. It was perfect for us. The food was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was good. It's located on a point so on the beach it was only people who were staying at Royalton allowed. There was no cross traffic from other resorts or locals trying to sell stuff. I felt completely comfortable leaving our items on our lounge chairs for extended periods of time while we ate, swam or whatever. What I really like was it had a mix of nice sandy beach and rocky shore so the beach sitting/ocean floating was great but also, the snorkeling was fantastic. I saw live conch for the first time, many starfish, different color sea urchins and tons of fish I couldn't begin to identify. "

"There were a couple areas of the resort (main pool deck and some of the swim up pool bridges) that had some deferred maintenance, but then we found out they are supposed to be getting a major remodel in those areas. It definitely did not affect our use or enjoyment of the property! Our group of 6 enjoyed all the restaurants and amenities. Beach was great, as was the swim up bar. We walked all the way to 7 mile beach- beautiful! "
