If you are looking for a "nice" place, this isn't it. The room was long overdue for a refurb. We are talking pealing wallpaper, molding grout, cracked mirrors, broken tiles, baseboards falling apart. I did not dare touch anything in the room for fear it would fall apart, or I would catch a communicable disease. Oddly, the common areas are fairly nice. But the rooms are a horror show. I would comment on the staff, but I only saw them on checkout. Most times, no one was at the front desk. This place can't last much longer.

The jacuzzi tub did not work, The carpet was wet, and the bed sank in the middle. Parking garage hard to get out of. Would be better if they served breakfast for the price you pay.

Loved having a parking garage that was free. I travelled solo with my 1 year old and was already overwhelmed , but the Carlyle made it easy. I did have an unexpected issue with my room on day 1 but they quickly got me into another room ( a bigger suite ) and helped move all my belongings. Overall, the hotel was very clean and well kept. All linens were free of stains and crisp. Bathrooms were clean. There was some obvious wear due to the hotels age , but for the prices they charge , totally understandable how upgrades aren’t the priority yet. The elevator was down for maintenance on my check out date but the maintenance man was kind enough to come carry my bags down the stairs since I was carrying 2 babies ! Loves ; 1: shower worked great. 2: rooms were clean and free of major disrepair of stains 3: the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating 4: I could hear nothing through the walls ! Maybe because my child was loud enough to drown it out 😂 Few things I didn’t love ; 1: the air freshener pumping through the building every few minutes. In scent sensitive so I did have a headache my entire trip. 2: both of my TVs were hard to operate because the remote signal to the TV wasn’t picking up. WOULD STAY AGAIN

I have mixed reviews. The lobby was very nice but the rooms needed some help. Bed too soft and needed new rugs and furniture. The room had maid service and was very well kept. They had no tea to offer just coffee. The cost was very reasonable and staff very helpful. Elevators and parking available!

An excellent value
Very quiet with clean and comfortable rooms. Jacuzzi tubs, Keurig coffee makers, refrigerator and microwave. Modern TV with a decent selection of channels.

I had a weird encounter with one of the employees regarding my service animal. They asked to see my documentation saying I need one, even though per the ADA I can’t be asked for documentation. Then they told me I needed to pay $35 for a pet fee, even though she’s a service animal and they can’t charge pet fees for a service animal. Also, they don’t allow pets so I don’t know why they would have a pet fee. It made no sense. Also, the rooms are old and kind of creepy. It was clean though, but I wasn’t impressed with the staff.
