Find a cheap Hotel in Cape May Historic District

"Our room was very clean but small. Our view on the first floor garden room looked out on the peaceful koi pond. We had drinks in front of the fireplace in the library. Breakfast was outstanding. Met so many nice staff members and visitors who were repeat customers. Will definetely return"

"I was thoroughly happy with the Chalfonte Hotel (though I actually stayed in the "Southern Quarters," which is next door as a sort of add-on to the original). The accommodations were built in 1876, so of course the rooms are smaller than people are used to now, the hotel doesn't have elevators, and travelers can hear things go bump in the night. The room still had old marble-topped desks! Check-in was easy. The "breakfast room" was pleasant. I was happily surprised to discover that parking (at least in March) was easily available in front of the building. The location in general was great--close to the Cape May downtown, within walking distance, really. Absolutely charming building, built in the Queen Anne style that is usual for Cape May. The building was old--that's part of the appeal--but the interiors didn't seem shabby, and everything was clean. Highly recommended."

"It was cloudy when we went but the Inn was gorgeous and it gave a nice view of the beach. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom door was a bit hard to close but its older building so thats fine :) "
