We had to change rooms 3x due to the rooms leaking. The last room we went to had a broken bathroom sink and missing light bulbs but by then we were exhausted and sick of moving so we put up with it. The beds are super uncomfortable. The sounds are so loud that sleeping was very difficult in the first rooms. The backside of the building is much quieter. On a positive note the staff was delightful and the rooms were clean. Breakfast included had quite a few options and reasonable hours. The hotel itself was clearly upkept by staff. More detail needs to be paid to the rooms themselves.

Its very close to the legislative and capitol building, walking distance, buts its very old and creeky and interior looks at least 30 years old. And not in a good way. The continental breakfast is a bit nicer than just continental with toastable waffles and hard boiled eggs and oatmeal and fruit. The second floor has an event space which is very loud until very.late so make sure you're not near that.

The Carson City Plaza Hotel is a very convenient, clean and friendly place to stay in downtown Carson City. The amenities are sparse and breakfast is minimal. However it is a good place to stay that is close to the capital and the museums without a casino in it. The king room was spacious with a small kitchen and a full sized refrigerator.

Well I make my reservations there at least 6 months in advance. I requested a 1st floor room but was put on the 3rd floor. I was informed that there is an elevator (of course) but that is not my issue. The woman at the desk just said they were to busy. I stay there twice a year. I felt that I was just brushed off.
