The Andrew Pinckney Inn is so charming. It is right next to City Market and an easy walk to The Battery. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the included breakfast and wine and cheese plates at 4pm. The view from the top is very nice. The room was quiet, comfortable, beautiful, and even smelled so nice. I will stay here again next time I’m in town.

We went to the Andrew Pinckney for our honeymoon and had a great time! The staff was incredibly nice, and it was the perfect location. We for sure will be going back.

Excellent hotel! The daily complimentary cheese and wine is great. Barbara is a gem! Location excellent as well… close to all main places. My only “complaint” was the shower in my room - not very good but to their ‘defense’ I never said anything so they didn’t have the chance to fix it

Very nice hotel with wine and cheese hour in the afternoon. Good breakfast options. Bathroom was a bit small but bed was comfortable. Would book again.

The Pinckney is a small hotel but it is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants also in walking distance to plenty of landmarks. The staff is willing to help in any way possible the complimentary breakfast is good. Our room was clean and cool and looked to be new renovated.

Hotel is perfectly situated for walking/sighseeing. Although, the bathroom, for a suite was about as big as a closet, can’t imagine how small they must be in a regular room.

Nice boutique hotel in a great location.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choices. The wine and cheese in the evening was a nice touch, but the unlimited water bottles in the cooler were a lifesaver as we were there during the heatwave!

The location was great, we could walk to the daily market, meeting street and king street. We stayed for 2 nights (3 days). The room was clean (however the bathroom did have an off putting smell, which was resolved after us putting the fan on for 20mins). The room was extremely dark though. Not sure if it was the only room with two double beds but it was a tiny window into the car park that offered minimal light so we needed to keep the lights on in the room even in the middle of the day. The largest downside was the staff, the gentlemen greeting us (or I should say not-greeting us) when we arrived was cooler than luke warm, we were given a key pass andtold where breakfast would be served and that was it. No offer to show us to our room or a description of the area, or a welcome to the hotel. Even the valet looked the other way every time we passed, as though eye contract would be too much let alone a greeting. On the final day my dad went in to return the room keys, right next to the gentlemen’s who sits there checking people in, we were shocked that there was no a word from him, no eye contact, no smile, no thank you for staying. We certainly felt like more of an inconvenience than a paying customer. In total we say around 3 members of staff, not one made us feel welcome. But we the city was lovely. Overall we would not recommend this pretty hotel.

Customer Service on Check-In
On check-in [at prescribed time of 4:00] I viewed room and discovered it was next to the elevator machine room with equipment actually in the bathroom wall. I requested another room and was told there were no other rooms available. Individual at check-in offered no help, no alternatives, no assistance at all. On hindsight I should have insisted that when guests checked out next morning perhaps there would be alternative options for me. On hindsight, the individual checking me in should have offered that. He had zero hospitality customer service experience. Put him in the parking lot moving cars.
