The harbor view, boardwalk out to the marina and around to the restaurant all very beautiful… restoration of a pool under our window a little noisy but off season work has to get done we understand

This property was in appalling condition upon arrival. The main elevator was broken down on the marina hotel side, the pool was completely drained, and roped off to create an eyesore on the property, and guess we’re left to take the service elevator located in the maintenance bowels of the hotel. The room had water damage on the ceiling, one of the bathrooms, downstairs with us out of order, and two out of three treadmills had broken TVs. The manager at this hotel kindly moved I over to the beach resort side, where the room was much bigger with a better view and a huge bathroom. I thought this was a much better option, but the hot water in the shower did not run hot and the room smelled like dog urine. There was black mold in the shower as well, as it was not properly cleaned. I Spoke with services about these issues and was told that engineering would come adjust the hot water, that did not happen, so we had lukewarm shower water the entire stay. No one ever cleaned the bathroom shower. There are bo bellmen, valet, or other staff to help with luggage. Earlier reviews of this resort reported the elevator having been down 8 days prior to or stay, and it was still out of service when we left 6 days later-this resort should not even be accepting guest reservations. It’s that bad.

Property was very convenient for our trip for parents’ weekend at CofC. Easy to get around all the area attractions in Charleston. Lots of amenities but unfortunately there were seasonal repairs being made to one of the pool areas plus the elevator was not operational during our 3 night stay. There was a freight elevator available for check in and check out with luggage but not conveniently located for frequent use. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

We had a wedding in the area and opted for this resort because of convenience. The staff upgraded our room upon arrival and all staff members were kind and accommodating. The only criticism we had were the elevators not working. It was a bit troublesome just given the extra steps— one of us is nursing a knee injury. The rooms were clean and tidy and beds extremely comfortable. Rooms a bit outdated- but the upgrade to a balcony with a water view made us forget about the elevators and and dated bathroom. The view was just lovely! Even with the criticisms, we would probably return to stay and would suggest to others as well. We dined at The Fish House twice and enjoyed it both times. There’s also complementary ice cream novelties in the lobby which were the ultimate treat!

Worth the price!
Well worth the price for the amenities you get. I highly suggest staying during the week as its cheaper and less crowded. Second time staying here and would absolutely stay again

Not as nice as their property next door that we have stayed at before. Pool was under construction not that we would’ve used it during this time of year however, our harbor and pool view was a view of a drained pool partially tiled. One of the elevators was out of work and the second one was very jerky. The property itself needs some renovations in the rooms.

The available stand up showers, instead of showers/tub, in rooms. The room and the common areas were fresh, well maintained, tastefully decorated. The staff at all levels were professional and helpful with any of our questions, concerns, including the fee shuttles.

We enjoyed staying here very much. It was a great location to be close to Charleston without being in the city. And having tge shuttle to take you to Charleston and back was wonderful. The staff was wonderful and helpful at the hotel with the exception of the housekeepers, who were not friendly, however, they performed their jobs well. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, especially the rooms and bathroom but they were both clean and functional and tge views were to die for! But the rooms were also very small. Beds were very comfortable. And the ice-cream treat each day was something to look forward to!

Badly managed and poorly maintained.
Stayed in the old building which is terribly maintained. Of course they tried to upgrade us for an extra $50 per night in the new building instead of repairing the original place. Elevator was out for entire 4 day stay, 2nd floor hallway smelled like a sewer, TV and fridge needed to be replaced, some outlets didn’t work. Pool was under repair and looked like it will be months before it can be used again. There was a carpet at the entry of the hallway that was a trip hazard. The staff “fixed it” by putting a lantern on the corner of the carpet. I then watched a lady trip over the lantern. This place needs a reboot.
