We traveled into Charleston from Seattle. I booked this hotel because I was looking for a good place to relax, unwind, and watch the sunset for my husbands birthday. It beyond met expectations. The front desk staff were extremely helpful (even when I forgot a razor and my daughter forgot her toothbrush) They had FREE ice cream. They even put balloons and a card in our room so I was able to surprise my husband. I can't wait to come back to Charleston. We only stayed one night here and wish I had booked more. Next time I'll be sure to do an extended stay. We ended up canceling our dinner reservation and staying on the beach outside our room watchinig live music, eating, drinking, and then were able to jump in the pool afterwards. I can't say enough great things about this place. It was the highlight of our week stay.

First I’m with start with the price of the room and it not being up to par! Had to get room switched. Had a water leak in the closet. Fridge didn’t work and the room was dirty! For the price we paid not very happy with the resort!

We had to leave a day early because of tropical storm Debbie. We were told at the front desk that our last night would be refunded because of the storm. When Expedia called for approval on the early checkout and refund it was denied. The property itself was clean but in need of some upgrades. Our shower only had this weird half door, no curtain, so it flooded the bathroom when you used it. The layout ofour room, though it was cute to look at made it hard to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night without falling over something. The property is beautiful and we really liked the location.

Harborside room (king bed) definitely a little snug on room size even for just 2 people. Bathroom too was tight with a weird shower door. Biggest letdown was the hot tub which was barely hot n beat up. The hotel decor, staff hospitality, and free downtown shuttle were definitely its best features for our stay. Would try a larger size room if we come again for a weekend visit. Overall, it’s worth a short term stay for us sightseers.

Great place on the water! View was magnificent from the balcony. Easy parking. Staff were great! Pool was nice. Location was perfect. So easy to get around by rental car. Only complaint was the bathroom door did not latch/lock. Would definitely stay again.
