What a beautiful place to stay. The location right on the water was amazing! Staff was great & the shuttle into downtown Charleston was a nice thing to have. Will definitely be back.

The hotel location and staff were lovely. My problem is with payment, hotels.com quoted and paid the entire amount and by check in already exceeded amount for my 2 nite stay! In the excess of 300 dollars! I used hotels.com in order to secure the best rate, bought trip insurance with Expedia, to ensure NO mishaps for function on Sunday!! I don’t even know if you are affiliated with Expedia but linked to same website- I had noooo intention on spending over 800 dollars on hotel that was to be 500 dollars I would of stayed elsewhere

Both the elevators were in poor operating condition, which lead to slow and bumpy rides every day. Also the inside of our room seemed pretty well used and in need of some serious refreshing. Lastly the harbor side pool was closed during most of your stay.

Nice location. Beds were a little soft for me. Room had some minor flaws but was clean. Wife loved it here. If ever in Charleston again, would stay here.

Enjoyed our stay. Property is setup with beautiful pool areas, tiki bar and restaurants. Courtesy shuttle into Charleston is very convenient. This was our second time staying there and we will definitely go back.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I felt that the resort had sort of “lack of maintenance “ look. We had booked a harbor view room but our view was of the pool. Could see a little of the harbor though. Very disappointed that the roof top bar was closed. This was one reason we came. Wanted to view the sunsets. Had to laugh at the tiny, out-of-date tv too. Very overpriced for what we got.Oh, and bathroom shower was not up to par. Food at the Fishhouse was excellent. We did not use any of the amenities but were charged extra for those. Still, our stay was a wonderful break from the hurricane in our home town.

Don’t waste your money
First room we got had a very strong weed smell. The rooms are old and need an upgrade. The bathroom was dirty and both the shower and sink were clogged. There was an awful noise each night in the room. Our first night we called for towels 2x and never got them. We had to physically go downstairs the next morning to get towels.
