Dont think i would stay here again
First impression of the room was very nice. Looked pretty new. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths so plenty of room but we started noticing things. One of the toilets didnt flush and there was no maintenence person to fix it. Neither of the bedroom doors could be closed. When i took a shower there was black hair all over it. There was a hair dryer bag with no hair dryer in it. The sheets on one of the beds had stains from nail polish, so i hope that was just a stain and not because they didnt change the sheets because they obviously didnt clean the shower and the last thing was a garbage smell in the kitchen when we woke up. Can't say i would stay again.

The room that we stayed in had in unit laundry and great shower however it was very dirty and smelly, sheets/towels were not clean, we had to buy extra sheets and comforter to sleep on, it’s a good property, would have been better if proper house cleaning and maintenance was done

Room had a cigarette smoke odor and couch was covered in dog hair. Overall the room didn’t feel clean. TV remote had no batteries, we checked with the front desk and they didn’t have any spares. Honestly would be better off spending the extra few bucks for a nicer hotel down the road.

There was limited staff. No one available to service room when checked in. Items broken in room no one available to look at them. No soap or shampoo in dispensers during check in and no one available to service room. Garbage can out side hotel flowing over on ground during entire stay.

Poor services and dirty!
The rooms were pretty nice and were clean, however they didn’t have any wash cloths in the rooms. There were only two pillows per bed that were very flat and they had no extras to get. The trash cans on the property were overflowing and the floors in all of the public areas were dirty. There was poop in the floors in the hallway and when we called to inform the desk they said they know and were going to get it cleaned, it was still there 4 hours later. The desk never answered their phones and were never behind the desk when you walked down, you’d have to wait 10-15 minutes for service every time you needed anything including checking in. This was a nice hotel potentially, but it was ruined by lack of services and terrible housekeeping.

Birthday Weekend Staycation Gone Wrong
It took an hour to check in bc one person Nicki was working, she had to service my room before I was given it. I did precheck in and was check 2xs for incidentals ($100 each) by mistake. There were no wash cloths or enough pillow cases on the bed. I had to wash my sheets, comforter and mattress cover due to debri and hair. I cleaned the entire space. When Helene came and knocked out power, I called and asked Savannah (she's kind) if a precedure is in place for these emergencies. There was none. Parking is ok. A lot of youth were on property smoking weed. Weed smell in halls. Domestic issues (heard through walls and lobby) i didnt feel 100% safe as a single woman staying. Someone tried selling me weed and jewelry. The outlets stopped working in kitchen after outage causing my food to spoil even after managing to save it during outage. I had to plug in the fridge in the sitting area.What they lack in workers and cleaning services is made up with kind staff who is very understanding but clearly overworked. Someones car was hit while parked. Only one main entrance and always a wait for residents and short stay guests. No security. Near shops and food (S. TRYON or Arrowood). Although the setup is truly nice for a short stay I would HATE to live here or stay again. I would not recommend for solo traveling women or families. The stains and dirty floor as mentioned in other reviews is correct too. Bring sandals/slides. Site not letting me add photos.

Staff at hotel was very very nice but the hotel felt dirty. It looked like our bedding had not been washed there was hair and stains in the bed. We asked for new bedding and remade the bed. We could not walk in the floor for how greasy/dirty it felt as well as all the countertop surfaces. There is also a dirty and cigarette foul smell to the whole place We just had an overnight stay and this could be ok for an extended stay if you were to bring your own cleaning supplies as the rooms are spacious with full kitchens.

The front desk staff was excellent. The woman was very accommodating and concerned about our stay. The room itself wasn’t up to par. It was evident housekeeping had not cleaned the floors or vacuumed. A child’s toy was left on the floor next to the couch. The TV did not initially work by the front desk staff came and fixed that. The room phone cord had been cut and didn’t work. There were no washcloths in the room. We found towels and washcloths in the washing machine that had been washed and never put into the dryer. They were still damp and smelled awful of mildew. The coffee mugs were dirty and I had to wash one before I could use it. The website rated this room 10/exceptional. I would rate the room a 5 or 6 at best. I don’t normally complain about stays but this one deserves to be written. I am a loyal Hotels.com customer and am normally satisfied but this time I defined was not pleased with the room. For one night my husband and I were alright but I wouldn’t recommend this place nor stay there again.

Furniture in my room was absolutely dirty and looked like vomit was on the chairs and sofa. Would never stay at this place again. Staff was really nice, but this place should be 1.5 to 2 stars at best; nowhere near a 3 star

Very nice property great staff during the day. People walking through the halls and in the parking lots all throughout the night and early morning makes the stay somewhat unsafe. I would stay here again but I’ll only deal with people who are in charge some of the staff aren’t sure about room availability

The bed linen had stains and it appeared to have not been changed. We had to get new linen and change the bed ourselves. There was old food in the garbage disposal as well as the disposal stopper. The carpet in the living area had trash/dirt-it had not been vacuumed. The laminate floors throughout the remaining area had not been swept or cleaned either. And what was even more disturbing was that at 7pm "Nikki- the name that she gave us as the assistant GM" was accessing our room without notification, a knock or approval. Had we not had the latch on, she would have walked right in with her managerial access card. She said she was seeing if the room was vacant because she had a "sticky note" stating that it was. My Husband had a conversation with her, and he asked that the security guard on duty, "Alyssa is the name that she gave", be present to witness the conversation.

Safety is NOT a concern if you're thinking about booking this hotel. The FBI office is almost in the same parking area. I felt safe enough to walk around without fear of going missing. They have security on patrol, your vehicle is safe from theft. Very quiet, lovely stay.

Upon check-in, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. My suite was beautiful and clean. All updated appliances, carpet could use some updating but overall, it was everything you want in an extended stay. Perfectly priced for my stay, and I definitely recommend! Great job Waterwalk!
