Pleasant but wouldn’t return.
A pleasant stay but overall disappointed. Was expecting more of an upmarket lobby/lounge/bar area - this really missed the mark for me together with the service which was efficient but not warm and friendly. Shower hopeless - ran hot and cold and pressure varied a lot.

Very pleasant stay
Staff very pleasant & helpful. Hotel clean.Good towels and a comfy bed. Lift a bit snug can’t be helped old building. Bad points our toilet seat needed replacing, bulb blown in bathroom, dented bin . But raised this with staff before we left. Spectacular breakfast, catered for dietary needs easily. Very pleasant stay.

Charming Boutique, But...
The staff are kind and very helpful. The area is beautiful and safe, close to restaurants, transportation, etc. However, the elevator was not working the entire time. If you are on floor one, you climb three sets of stairs. The tubs in the bathrooms have steep sides making it difficult to get in and out of the shower, especially for seniors. There were no shower mats, either to steady yourself while showering. Not a place for seniors.

Our room with balcony was compact, but very comfortable. It was really enjoyable to sit out on the balcony with a cup of tea and relax after a day’s sightseeing. The hotel is one of a beautiful row of Georgian flats, within walking distance of the Tube, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. There were a couple of nice restaurants on the nearby corner. The walk to Battersea Park was well worth it and the stroll along the Thames was really nice and picturesque. Beautiful, elegant lodgings with very courteous staff. Unfortunately, the lift needed fixing and there could have been a few paint touch ups in the bathroom, but neither took away from a wonderful experience. The breakfast downstairs was equally stellar. My go-to place next time we’re in London.

Staff are so lovely, lift was out of order but nothing staff can do at the weekend. Did feel flooring in bedroom around bed base and bathroom skirting, corrosion on taps could have been given a good deep clean. Shower absolutely terrible

The balcony in our room opened up what was otherwise a small but comfortable space. I enjoyed having my cup of tea there in the evenings, enjoying the fragrance of the flowers on the vine. Room 22, top floor. Highly recommend.

It was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a one night stay before flying out, and the water broke so we could not use the shower, toilet, or sink Absolutely miserable. Also the elevator was broken (this occurred a week before our arrival and they didn’t contact us to let us into); and my eldest daughter who just had hip surgery was forced to walk up four flights of stairs to her room. The only reason we booked this hotel was because it was highly recommended on your website, which we had happily used in the past. This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The staff welcomed us and they were anxious to meet our needs for a comfortable stay. We had an exceptional breakfast served on the balcony adjoining our room. We found the bedding, towels and lighting made our stay feel luxurious.
