Location and hotel is very nice. Restaurant very good but expensive. Rooms cleaned but needed a little upgrade in certain places. No hot water in bathroom sink. Shower took 5 minutes before finally getting hot water. Other than a few minor things the location, staff and property is very beautiful. Loved the outdoor fire places and walkways around the town that led back to the hotel. Very safe and had no issues.

Excellent hotel to stay at when visiting the 1,000 Islands. Loved the views and walking downtown Clayton. Short drive to Alex Bay.

Room had mismatched glasses, sink and shower held water. Showered in 1/2 inch of water even after telling the front desk who said they would fix it. Comforter was very heavy and uncomfortable. Previous Wine stain on area rug. No exhaust fan in bathroom! Housekeeping came in on second day to leave chocolate but didn’t remove towels on floor or take garbage from cans. Restaurant was average. Very expensive room charge for uncomfortable 3 day stay. Check out person could care less. We wont be back and our friends and family will be informed. Not four star worthy! More like three star.

Loved the outdoor seating area right on the water! The hotel was clean and comfortable but did have a slight fishy smell. It was mainly in the reception area which is right next to the restaurant so that is probably why but didn't love the smell walking in. I also would not suggest the restaurant. My girlfriend and I both agreed our meals were Meh and expensive. Walk to the town and find a place there. Positives - great location to the town, large comfy rooms, restaurant and bar right in the hotel. I am not a drinker but if you are it's a nice view to sit and have cocktails Negatives - slight smell in reception area, restaurant so so, not a ton of food options in town if you'd like to be somewhat healthy

The facility was very nice. The grounds and location were wonderful. For some reason they played music outside with in ground speakers all day long. The music itself wasn't bad but I couldn't go anywhere without hearing it. Even in our room if we had the slider open to the balcony. We had to turn our TV up louder to hear it. The music usually was turned off by 10pm. The morning coffee was on each floor which made it very convenient. Our TV was broken when we arrived. We told them about it in the morning and they had it fixed before we returned from sightseeing. Wonderful staff. Sarah in the restaurant was very accommodating and pleasant.
