"We both really liked this hotel . We went there for our 19th anniversary celibration and thouroly enjoyed our stay. Its so refreshing to stay at a hotel that advertises a hot tub that acctually works and isnt in a state of renovation..We travel up and down the west coast frequently and so many hotels show pool/hot tub in their adds but so often they arent available..very disappointing as we choose a place based on this being available..often paying a higher per night fee. This hotel is older but very well maintained and has a very helpfull and cheerfull staff. So many hotels have been bought by investors that wring every once of use out of their facilities before updating (pictures online must have been taken years before-sort of like on line dating lol) We will be going back there for sure."

"Room was small but very comfy for a single traveler. Had mini fridge with additional door for freezer, microwave & coffee maker. My room had a queen bed that was very comfortable."

"Went here for our anniversary trip. Had a relaxing stay. The room was clean, we appreciated having a small kitchen, as we were not within easy walking distance to “downtown” Anacortes. We picked the location for its views of the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands, as well as its proximity to the ferry terminal. It was our home base for a few nights while we took day trips and walked on to the ferry to Friday Harbor. Most of the islands do require transportation to explore, but Friday harbor on San Juan island is at the ferry terminal. We drank cider made on the island, ate yummy seafood with an epic view at Downriggers, and explored a museum of local history. "

"I liked everything about this place, the architecture, decor, location - Fairhaven's really the only place to stay in Bellingham - the happy hour at the Art Deco bar next door. Staff were very responsive and helpful too."
