The only really good things that I can say about the hotel is that the bed was very comfy and the price was good. Unfortunately, the area made us seem very uncomfortable and unsafe. The hotel had a very odd odor and the air conditioner didn't work well. The room was very very humid! When we drove up and saw the area we almost went somewhere else because it was that sketch, we ended up staying and had no issues but I would caution you on the area.

For two days none of bath rooms on main floor were working. We rented 3 rooms for two nights. All had failed electronic card locks. My lock failed 3 separate attempts to open door.

As someone who normally stays in budget hotels and can handle quite a bit, there were a few genuinely concerning things about this hotel. For starters, in my room the door frame was damaged, the peep hole was busted, and the door sat high enough off the ground (1-2” easily) where someone could look in if they were trying. Major stains that appeared to be blood on the bed frame, one lamp shade, and the blackout curtains. The water in the shower never actually turned off. It was running when I got there and still running when I left, despite my best efforts. Something was growing in one corner of the shower that likely needs to be scraped/scooped off at this point, OR it’s severe rust and damage (didn’t touch it to find out). That said, I did not run into any significant issues personally. I needed somewhere to get a few quick hours of sleep, and I did. The bed and linens were clean/fresh and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Staff were helpful at check in and check out, I’m just not willing to complain/request a new room in general (but trust me, I considered it this time around).

People and staff were good. Room door was difficult to open, had to try key 4-8 times every time before it would unlock. And even when closing you had to pull door hard to allow it to close. Toilet seat was broken, tub would drain extremely slow. The place smelled like moisture.

The room I was in which was 304 was dirty and smelled like urine. The air conditioner did not work at all. No customer support or service.

The morning after my arrival the shower/tub faucet would not stop running. I notified the front desk and they contacted the maintenance man, He never showed up during my entire stay. Mold was noted on the walls in the bathroom and the ventilation fan did not draw the humidity from the room, I am nearly 70 years old with breathing issues and the mold and humidity are not safe for me. I will seek out another hotel the next time I have to travel to Denton.

The hotel was pretty drabby and had a smell. It was not up to comfort inn standards that I usually expect and actually saw someone else request a different room due to mold. The breakfast was the only good thing about the place.

It is what you pay for
You get what you paid for… I had to pay an additional $150 deposit for using hotels.com to book room on top of the room fee…had an issue with little black ants (on 4th floor) in the room, room was dusty/musty smell to it. Found a pill bottle under nightstand that had been there for quite a bit (nice layer of dust on it), hole in the closet for the shower. Water pressure was horrible and couldn’t get the water temperature to adjust from scorching to cool.
