This hotel used to be the most premier in the area but unfortunately it has gone downhill fast. The location is beautiful and so is the facility, but the upkeep and service has unfortunately severely declined. This hotel was our go-to stay anytime we visited Erie, we even held our wedding reception here. However, after our most recent stay in 2024 we be seeking out somewhere else in the future for our visits to Erie. The room was dirty, with large visible stains on the duvet covers and shower curtain. There was dark hair left from a previous guest on the white sheets and pillowcase. When we tried to phone the front desk to request new linens we realized the phone in the room also did not work. So we went to the front desk and were provided new sheets to change the bed ourselves, but additional duvet covers were not available so we were told to use the extra blankets provided for cots and pull-out couches. When we returned to the room, we realized the bath tub did not drain, and the water would not get hot. So we trekked back downstairs and they finally offered us a new room. This room appeared to be cleaner, but it was still lacking the premium quality feel it did at our previous stays. The parking and food offered onsite are nice and convenient, however given the current state of the hotel it feels overpriced and unnecessary to still be paying extra for these services at this location. Overall very disappointed and will not be returning.

Lovely bay front setting with nice bar and bistro and lovely walkable waterfront path. Suite with a view was lovely. I would stay again. Sunset from the room window was beautiful.
