This hotel was very clean. The housekeeping staff were great and made up the room very well everyday. The hot breakfast was good but not great. We only had one issue where we needed room service in the middle of the night and could not get ahold of anyone. We called the front desk multiple times, walked down to the front desk to find the lights out and doors locked. One of us eventually walked outside to the entrance door of the main lobby and found a button to contact someone, on the outside of the building. This worked, and we were able to get the room service we needed, an hour later. No staff, including the manager, offered any apology at all for this and repeatedly asked if we called the front desk and told us they were at the front desk the entire time. At checkout, we were asked how our stay was, so i brought this up, and again no apology. They continued to tell me that i didn't do what i was supposed to to get ahold of someone when i called the front desk. Apparently, after the front desk phone rings and nobody answers, and after the automated system answers to tell you nobody is available, it gives an after hours phone number. Maybe i got impatient waiting on the phone every time i called and hung up before getting to this point, but i never heard that part of the automated system. It really doesn't matter. It shouldn't be this hard to get ahold of someone in the middle of the night, and not offering even a simple apology has resulted in this review.
