We stop here every year on our way through to the Outer Banks. Clean, comfortable, friendly & reasonably priced. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Oh, breakfast is a nice plus too!

This property is in a pretty good location along the main highway that goes thru town. The check-in process was super easy and painless and check out was even easier. So glad we stayed at this place.

I had a hard time getting into my room initially, the key just would not work. They moved me to a suite, but I was so frustrated that when the guy came to move me up to the 3rd floor, by the time I gathered all of my belongings, he was gone. I feel he should have helped me take my luggage upstairs, since it was their key that didn't work. I had a time carrying everything upstairs with no luggage rack and no assistance. by the time I got to the room, I was totally exhausted. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay from there on out.

My husband and I were visiting with family and stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Exmore. We asked for a handicap room with a King size bed and non-smoking of which we got on the first floor. The desk clerk was very friendly and asked if she could assist us in anyway. The room was very nice and clean, bed was very comfortable, TV, coffee was great. I loved the new way that they installed a screen and push button shade instead of curtains. I always hated those curtains right over the air conditioner that was hard to keep together when the air or heat was blowing. Plenty of space and plug ins for all your devices. When leaving one of the workers was cleaning in the hallway and when he saw me struggling with the luggage rack, he stopped what he was doing to help me. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay and I will stay there again.

Room was generally spacious and clean except for the toilet. Breakfast area seating were limited during rush hours due to the large chair sizes and bar stool arrangements, not convenient for families. Breakfast has a lot more greasy than healthier choices.

Our stay at the property was good just a couple of things that needs work. The light from thenpool came out i n the pool while we were swimming. The bathroom could have definitely been cleaned better.
