Wonderful Stay
We evacuated to this hotel from Fort Myers due to the hurricane. Even before we arrived, the staff (David at the front desk) when I was calling to see if there was a room available, to the front desk when we arrived, the cleaning staff, and the kitchen staff were the most courteous and friendly people we have ever encountered. They knew how stressed we were, so they were extremely understanding and thoughtful. Also, since we had a dog with us, it was more difficult to find a hotel that was pet friendly. The staff was constantly cleaning the main areas, the carpets in the hallways, as well as the kitchen area. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling in the Tamarac, Florida area.

Outside of one interaction with a security guard who could use some training in customer service (he asked me to move my car from the entrance when i arrived at 2am! while he sat in a car with a friend blocking the other side of the entrance) I had a good stay. The room and grounds wwre clean. It was very convenient from the hwy. The breakfast was good. Walking my dog was convenient with both onsite pet area and neighborhood grounds. There are both restaurants and shopping (Publix) directly adjacent to the hotel. 20 minutes drive to anyplace you want to see/go to including Ft. Lauderdale and a number of beaches.
