I booked this resort mostly for the waterfall pool, on arrival we found out it was being work on and not in use, the smaller pool was next to the bar and was I use, but not a comfortable space, next to the loud bar.

Our 3 day stay at the Lighthouse was for the most part enjoyable. The staff were all attentive and helpful. Special kudos to Don the parking attendant who always was able to find us a parking spot with all the construction vehicles taking up many spaces. Understandably, with the hurricane damage, management is doing there best to repair the damage incurred. One bad note was the tiki bar. There is no waitress service. You must order at the bar and the cocktails taste like the liquor is watered down. Not worth the money they charge. Rooms could use to be updated and checked for working lights. Our room had many light bulbs that did not work. We will visit again when all repairs are complete to the resort.

I stayed a couple of nights at Lighthouse in January for a work trip. I've stayed in most of the hotels and vacation rentals nearby this property since the hurricane over the past couple of years. The price I paid for my room and the convenience to our office along with the Tiki Bar downstairs made this a bargain for me. Very happy with an easy check in process and I found a parking spot right away very close to the stairs. I had a Junior suite booked and I think that I got a better room b/c my room had 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bath. It was very clean and very comfortable. For the price I paid I could not have found similar at another location. There is not an elevator and I was on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal for me at all and I enjoyed the views from the higher floor. Great shared outdoor area with tables and chairs. I did not have any issues with sound from inside my room except for one night b/c there were people hanging out outside my room on the shared outdoor area until about 2:30am. Other than that no issues at all. I loved having the Tiki Bar downstairs to grab a quick lunch, dinner or drinks. Overall I was very happy with my stay. The ladies at the front office were awesome each time I went in. Very happy.

We loved our stay at the Lighthouse Hotel! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for walking around & getting to the beach. There is still construction going on, but they were always very upfront with us about that so we didn’t mind at all!

The location was great. The cottage was very cute and updated. Even with all of the construction going on, it was still quiet/peaceful in the evenings/mornings on the back deck. It had an odor of oil and we had to keep a window cracked at night to sleep.

Heavy construction occurring with no guest noise reduction planning. Hot water didn't work in the morning and the front desk didn't care at all. Bartenders are mostly rude. The room smell was very heavy and with the window open for 2 days it didn't go away. Spend the extra money and stay at Margaritaville

I was very frustrated trying to find the parking lot. After exiting the beach and making several circles trying to find 4th st. I finally called the front desk. When you put cones in front of an already small area you would never know it was a road for you to go park. The parking is small and very hard to maneuver anywhere in the lot. The room was nice. It took forever to get hot water and the tub is old and somewhat disgusting. Because of the whole area being crowded, near the bridge exit and all of the congestion with the construction i did not get a good impression and will not go back.

They moved our room to a small and cheaper room and refused to give me back the difference. The heater leaked we had to clean it up. Now one came to fix it. It was cold the next night. There was no parking and the elevator did not work. Both managers told me different lies about the same thing. There was mold on the ceiling.

Ft Myers Beach is under reconstruction from recent hurricanes and visitors must understand that the area is congested and has construction vehicles. However, the beach has been beautifully restored, enough restaurants are open and serving delicious food and the open-air bars are open and performers filling the air with beach music. Everyone is pleasant and our stay was great.

Area and property are still under construction so expect noise during the day. Pool was open. Tiki bar/restaurant is open with good drinks/food and fun activities. Rooms are clean. Maid service is better than most places these days. At least they do your towels and trash daily. Beach is clean. Walkable to most things. Free trolley available. Go spend some money so they can continue to rebuild.
