Amazing stay with friends for a ski trip to Big Sky resort. Also had a slay ride at the property which offered the best chili I've ever had. The property also provided snow shoes for us to have a little hike in the national forest right behind the ranch. Breakfast was tasty and varied every morning.
Loved this location, it was quite the night we were there. House keeping could’ve done a better job of cleaning the bathroom (dark smears on the wall and a ton of dead bugs above the vanity lights). Breakfast was fantastic!
Really terrible check in and service experience with this lodge. It was our first time at the property and we arrived in the dark at about 5:30 pm during a snowstorm. The staff gave us a map to our cabin and explained that we are the second to last cabin at the end of the road. The map similarly showed that the road stops right by our cabin.
What was not explained to us is that if you go too far, you enter a national forest. Not knowing this, we drove to the end of the road and subsequently our car got stuck in snow.
We tried to get ourselves out, however after an hour and a half we thought best to get help and walked to our room to call the front desk.
They were quick to apologize for the fact that the 320 Ranch policy is to not help their guests in this scenario for liability reasons. We explained that the car wasn’t super deep in snow and probably could be moved with some simple assistance. We were told to call a tow truck.
Of course, we believe that sending any guest out in a snowstorm with a terrible map and such vague instructions on where to stop during a snowstorm is a pretty big liability!!!
Luckily, we were able to move the car eventually on our own. By the time we arrived to our room it was past 9.
I would recommend avoiding these people.

Boring hotel. Amenities unavailable.
Most amenities were unavailable during our stay.
Bar: closed
Pool table: closed
Restaurant: closed
No TV, even though there was one pictured in the listing. Staff told us to drive down the road to a restaurant to watch a football game.
I would not stay here again.
Hotel was 20 minutes from big sky and 40 from Yellowstone. Not convenient location. No directions on website how to drive there. No directions to find cabins. I ended up in the supply cabins. No TV. Excellent room as advertised spotless. Nice fireplace. Their cancelation policy sucks. My date got sick so I had to go alone. No refund even though I bought your insurance!!! No exchange of dates which I could have done after Christmas. The internet worked well. Room was heated before I got there. Physically a very aesthetic lodge and location. I would go back
My wife and I had planned on taking a vacation to Montana in November and found the 320Ranch. We could not have been happier with the choice, the cabins were very clean, the service was awesome from the staff and the location was beautiful. We were lucky enough to have snowfall during our stay and the views of the mountains and streams were breathtaking. We are already planning our next visit when Yellowstone opens up in the spring.
After traveling all day was booked into a double cabin. Went to bed early only to be awakened by late arriving neighbors who were so loud and the walls paper thin that could not sleep. Every sound could be heard. Got very little sleep. Only lodging place I ever stayed at that did not have a TV. Did not see this issue on their info when booking. Was recommended where to eat by front desk and after driving 20 more minutes the place was closed. Terrible evening and night with little sleep. Would not recommend if you like quiet.
We just missed all of there activities they offer so that was unfortunate but it is definitely a beautiful place. We were able to upgrade to river front cabin with up charge but we weren't there except to sleep so but a good decision on our part. The only thing that we didn't like was shower size is extremely small. The breakfast was so good every morning. Overall we would definitely stay there again when they are still offering the activities.
The cabin and property were lovely but the guy that checked us in was definitely not a good first impression to the property - very surly and unhelpful and did not offer an apology to the fact that we booked a fireplace room and was told the fireplace was broken.
We met a lot of people on our 10 day travels throughout Montana and found everyone so friendly and hospitable - he was the only rude person we met…..other guests mentioned the same thing
Overall a lovely secluded property on a beautiful creek. And the lady that checked us out was friendly and the young girl in the dining room was lovely.
