Newly rebuilt!! Cabin on the Cove was destroyed in the tornado of December 2021. We have just finished the rebuild, and have posted new photos.

The ideal setting for a quiet get-a-way on beautiful Kentucky Lake. Located just 1.5 miles from Moors Resort on a peaceful inlet with a great view of the cove and lake. We are excited to offer our
vacation home for you to enjoy. You will love the quiet afternoons relaxing in the walkout basement. The screened-in porch commands a great view of the water, and the main floor is constructed to convey an open and airy feeling with warm LVP floors throughout. A "great room" with a fireplace is situated around the kitchen and breakfast bar. Two sliding glass doors on the main floor and the walkout basement lead
to wooden decks that overlook the cove. The main floor also has a screened in porch with unique "Air Chairs" to relax in.

We also own the home next door, Lake 'n Logs (VRBO # 4087464). It is now available. Rent them both and have a family reunion. Up to 25 people total, nine bedrooms and 6 & 1/2 baths!

Family Wedding
We stayed at Cabin on the Cove while attending a family wedding nearby. We had no idea how large and beautiful Kentucky Lake was and were so pleased with the home, views and the lake. The home was everything we expected and more. Clean, updated and all the comforts of home. The screen porch was my favorite! I enjoyed my morning coffee and book while relaxing in the swing on the porch, it was a great way to start the day. The 2 story deck was great as well, I wish we would have had more time to spend out there. The accommodations are well thought out, extra pillows, blankets, peg racks in the bedrooms for hanging bags, jackets, hats... Cabin on the Cove was a 5 star experience. Thank you Tim.

Perfect for weekend getaway!
My family stayed at this property for the KHSAA Bass Fishing State Tournament. We really enjoyed our stay! House is new and nicely decorated. The house was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The (4) bedrooms are located across 3 floors so everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. The beds were very comfortable. There’s a nice, deep soaking tub in the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals. This house is a new construction and is completed. But, the yard is still all mud. There was a small sod area out front but grass was high. They are working on completing the landscaping. The screened in porch was lovely to hang out on with a nice view of their cove. There is a small dining table and some chairs. I’d recommend adding some comfortable loungers or Adirondacks to the bottom sundeck for relaxing and reading. We appreciated having Alexa dots throughout the house to ask for the forecast or play music. There is a very cool fireplace insert in the family room. The only TV in the house is downstairs in the lowest level. We would’ve appreciated another tv either in the master upstairs or the kitchen/family room area. The driveway is VERY steep, but the owners let us park on a flat spot on their adjoining lot. The owner, Tim, couldn’t have been more friendly, responsive or helpful! We will stay there again!

New home with amazing views!
We enjoyed our stay, Tim and his wife worked hard to have the home ready and comfortable. The screened in porch and game room was a huge hit. Despite the area recovering from the Tornado Tim had everything ready for us to enjoy our vacation. The dock worked great to tie our boat and sea doos up safely. Definitely recommend this home!

Eagle sightings
House, location, and host were AWESOME. There were 8 adults and we couldn't have asked for a better time--even got treated to a free Derek Stoner concert over Labor Day weekend. Loved the dock access in the cove. Plenty of room for us in the house and the cove views with eagle was icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property!

Great cabin
Tim and Jane were great host. We enjoyed our stay. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. The cabin accommodated all of us. There is a shared dock which we had no problems with. Our 16 foot boot fit perfect. There is a ladder at the dock for everyone to use while swim off the dock. There is a beach about 4 mins away which we went to a few times. The kids had a wonderful time. We stayed Sunday to Saturday. The lake was very quite until Friday. Thanks so much Tim!

Wonderful getaway!
This home was clean and ready for our family of 6 (plus a couple of cousins)! We had everything we needed. The kids had a lot of fun playing air hockey and we all enjoyed access to kayaks on the beautiful, quiet inlet. Thanks for sharing your space!

Great location, wonderful host
We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was as pictured on vrbo. The kids (9, 9, 8, and 3) enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the kayaks in the calm inlet. They also loved the air hockey game on the bottom floor. The location is great, just minutes from Moor's Marina. Tim is the best host I have ever had while renting on vrbo. He sent me a very informative booklet about the house and area which was extremely helpful and also stopped by to make sure all was ok during our stay. Would definitely rent from him again!

Comfortable Cabin on the Cove
The house is wonderful! With three floors and 3 bathrooms, everyone had plenty of space and privacy. There are lots of steps to get to the pier, but that was the same with every house along that end of the lake. Lake is gorgeous and we had the best time on the rented pontoon. Tim (owner) came by - very nice man. Good time was had by all.

Great stay at KY lake!
We really enjoyed our time at KY lake, and Tim’s hospitality made it easy. We had 2 families - the kids loved the games downstairs and we all loved the screened in porch. The bunkhouse worked very well for 4 kids. We also enjoyed the new kayaks and paddle boat. Only note I would add that I don’t remember seeing in the description - the boat dock was great for tying up the boat but didn’t work for the kids to swim off of. But overall a great stay and we felt lucky to find it.

Safe, relaxing vacation
This cabin was absolutely perfect for what we wanted-a safe space to socially distance from others while visiting with extended family. The cabin is spacious and beautiful, and the private dock with kayaks made for hours of fun for our sons ages 8-11. Be aware there are no towels or washcloths so you will need to bring your own. The owner is kind, helpful and friendly!
