The wife and I was driving back home from Florida to New York City and decided to stay at this hotel It was clean the staff was friendly and it was close to a lot of food and gas areas it was also very close to the highway

WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN
There were roaches in the bathroom, set of lights over bed did not even match. No bedspreads or skirts on bed. Could see the metal bed frames. Left blouse on back of bathroom door and can not get anyone at hotel or hotels.com to answer my questions about getting it sent to me. Little bugs on nightstand.

It took us 4 tries to get a room that did not smell like urine or marijuana. Once we got a clean room and fell asleep a staffer tried to break into our room and say for us to get out . He had a screwdriver trying to get the safety lock off our door. Was a scary and unsettling experience. Then we found out later that the guy who checked us in did not change our room in the computer. Also, all halls and elevators smelled like marijuana. In our travels We will never stay in another La Quinta hotel and we will definitely let our friends and family know of our traumatic experiences.

The shower was either scorching hot or cold cold. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was not in very good shape. The upholstery was worn off of the benches. Food was not kept replenished wiped off and countertops weren’t wiped down, etc. Not a lot of pride of ownership.
