The property and room were very nice, however, I had requested a quieter room, close to the jacuzzi ahead or time and upong check in and I was put in a room over the lobby with a balcony facing the freeway onramp. I would say it was the loudest room in the hotel and we didn't sleep very well. Upon check out, I asked to get Bill, the manager's opinion on what other room to ask for when we returned on Monday night, Sept 2. He said they were sold out that night (which wasn't true since I checked minutes before that conversation) and really didn't listen or help with my situation. He proceeded to answer the phone and dismiss me. I can see that he isn't that great with customer service. That was all I needed to know and I canceled my reservation to return in a few days on the spot. I didn't realize it at the time, but he did me a favor since we stayed at the Super 8 instead on Sept 2, saved money and had a WAY better stay there.

Everything was excellent about the hotel, the location, the staff, the room, the service, the cleanness of the hotel. My only complaints was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working at all so if they can figure out a better Wi-Fi connection for their guest then it’ll be a lot better stay.

Great beds / bedding. No bath but good roomy shower. Pretty plain but clean (newly remodeled) and really nice folks at desk. Very convenient to I-40 yet surprisingly quiet. More outlets (plugs two types of USB) than I have ever seen, plus mini fridge and microwave.

Basic, but renovated and clean. Quiet, especially considering desirable location near highway. Bargain considering strangely high prices in Flag during NAU activities and seasonal tourists. The staff is what makes it worthwhile. Lexi and Margot at the front desk were kind, helpful and competent. I visit Flag often and will skip the big pricey chains and stay again.
