Hidden Gem
Staff was promptly able to accommodate our late afternoon booking. Friendly welcome on arrival. Very nice courtyard / garden area shared with all cabins. We arrived during a storm or would have enjoyed the fire pit available to all guests. Clean and inviting cabin with 2 bedrooms. Morning breakfast included various pastries, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches and drinks (coffee, tea, juice)

Our stay at the cottages on river road was amazing!! Any other small place we stay at is going to have to live up to this. The area was gorgeous, the staff was so nice, and the rooms were cute. I still crave the complementary breakfast. We ended up extending our stay cause we were having so much fun. Shout out to Deanne as she gave great recommendations!!

Good stay!
The falling leaves, lit up garden and walkways made this property beautiful! Our cabin was comfortable and clean. Like really clean! There was not a single hair in the shower (something that personally grosses me out); and we accidentally dropped something that rolled behind a piece of furniture. Moved the piece to grab the item, there was no dust on the floor behind it! The bed was more firm than we like, but that is totally a personal preference. But overall the cabin was comfortable and cozy. As with most places, breakfast was meger, but at least enough to get you started in the morning before eating later at the coast, and it was layed out and presented nicely. We will definitely stay again!

These cottages are quite inviting, they are clean and have wood floors (laminate) and not hard to clean carpets; the bathroom is upgraded and quite lovely. The bed was great BUT, there was not a single chair nor table at which I could use laptop and/or eat. Very unusual and not welcoming. I had to eat standing at a tall cabinet in which the wine refrigerator was concealed. In the evening they light a fire pit and bring out all the fixins for s'mores. Breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and service oriented!

Overall, the place was lovely and I’d stay there again. However, the toilet in my room was not seated properly and wobbled quite a bit. The other frustrating thing was the hot water in the bathroom sink was only a trickle. The shower was fine, but there was very little hot water coming out of the sink. If the bed was smaller, there would be room to put a chair which would be appreciated.
