"This is an airbnb/ hostel style. But the service and cleanliness and level of the people that book here are nothing like most hostels. The host is AWESOME! She does everything to make her guests feel good and welcome. Breakfast is simple but efficient and good. The room was cozy, clean and all amenities worked great. I would stay here again but truly, it’s the host that makes this place excellent. She truly cares for her guests. "

"The accommodation was amazing. The cottage itself was large and spacious but still warm and cozy. All the windows had amazing views of the snow. It was a few minutes walk from Iwatake gondola and ski rentals. The runs down from iwatake were some of my favourites. The host Yutaka was great and met us at the station and dropped us off. We didnt have a car so this really helped us. We absolutely loved the place. If you are not driving you can get the hakuba valley shuttle buses to most places but they stop running when the ski lifts close. Restaurants are almost impossible to get into without reservations. So book early and get supplies from the supermarket when you get the chance."
