This was a slightly tough decision as the room wasn't quite perfect and bathroom not the most modern but for value for money you couldn't fault it.The main reason I rated this 5 star rather than 4 was the exceptional service from the staff and their enthusiasm. They were very friendly and could not do enough for you. If you want 5 star luxury then it's probably not for you but if you want the best welcome ever and to leave feeling you were part of the family then I can't recommend it highly enough.

A nice hotel that was made into a wonderful experience by the amazing staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even at breakfast at 6:30am! They arranged an airport pick up and early check in by email and were extremely efficient. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

Location is great and so are the staffs. Always cheerful, helpful and full of energy from Reception desk (yes! Ms. Anna) to everyone in the breakfast. Sure to brighten you up in the mornings.Really liked the breakfast to choose from in addition to the buffet one. Spacious and comfortable room. Will stay here again! Keep it up!

The picture on Expedia.com is exactly what you get. Super friendly staff, from the bell boy to the receptionist. The rooms are clean and comfortable. No complains from me and our family of 14 including kids. The staff are so cheerful, helpful, and full of enthusiasm that makes this hotel stands out from the other hotels I had been. Breakfast menu is good with a good choice of buffet and ala carte. Need to specially mention the 2 receptionist that were there during our 4 days 3 nights stay, Ms.Anna and another one (sorry forgot your name), they really made our day with their lovely smiles and greetings ! Overall in terms of hospitality, it is the best hotels I had been to (trust me)..It maybe a 4 star hotel, but with a 5 star hospitality service.

From the moment we arrived the fantastic staff at Lotus Boutique were friendly and very accommodating. They gave us great advise about where to eat and places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble. My sister and I stayed at Lotus Boutique Hotel for 3 nights. We were very impressed by the warm and kind hospitality of the staff. Anna and the rest of the receptionists, porters and the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel is central and quiet. The staff have certainly made our stay at the hotel a memorable and pleasant one. We strongly recommend Lotus Boutique Hotel to travelers looking for hotel in Hanoi old quarter. :)

We had three fantastic days in Hanoi, it was such a lovely start being welcomed by Ms Mia at the Lotus Hotel. All the staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. You really should try this place. Thank you all the staff at Lotus.

Three days and nights were spent recently in Hanoi staying at the Lotus Boutique Hotel, Excellent service from a most welcoming and friendly staff who could not do enough for us. Very comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast each day. The hotel is in the old part of Hanoi and within easy walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

An excellent hotel in Hanoi - the staff were the friendliest we have met in Vietnam (which is a very friendly country!) They went out of their way to help us and give us recommendations. The rooms were lovely and had everything you needed. Excellent breakfast and delicious welcoming drinks. We would love to come back.

Anna and her team were excellent in their service, always eager to assist and fulfill all our request.. The superior rooms were small but managable for 2. Deluxe and Family is OK. Cleanliness is at its BEST. Breakfast was great with a mini buffet AND alacarte menu. We got a package with the Flamingo Cruise.. I have to stress, the food menu on the cruise was even better.. They even had wifi on board. Overall, a great experience with Lotus Boutique Hotel..

While booking tours or anything's they weren't explaining or telling the options. The three tours I have booked with them I was charged doubled the price each time. I never stay or book any tour with these guys

Good location. Great staff and service. the room is clean and comfortable. It is easy to go to famous spots in Hanoi. The staff are nice and friendly and passionate. the breakfast is sooooo good. Definitely will stay there next time.

We decided to book only one night at the Lotus Boutique Hotel not knowing what to expect. Needless to stay we remained here for a total of 3 nights. Mia her amazing team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable & well looked after. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Location is perfect for exploring the Old Quarter. We cannot recommend the Lotus Boutique Hotel enough!! If we ever get the chance to go back to Hanoi we will definitely be making a stop back here. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful :)
