"The hotel was excellent. Room was lovely. The grounds beautiful. The outside noise was a little much as we had a room on the 1st floor on the corner of Bourbon/St Ann. And with it being Super Bowl week things were a lot busier than normal. An unmarked police car was parked next to our window and the car alarm went off. Yikes!! I would stay there again but get a room higher up. And not on a weekend with lots of extra stuff going on. "

"Gated parking and contactless check-in/out was good. My door needed service, however, as it was difficult to lock and open. Also, my door was open when I checked in. Not sure if the staff had trouble with it like I did during my stay. Besides those easily fixable things, I liked this place and would use it again next time I'm in town. "

"I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our hosts. We landed in New Orleans on Monday night before they shut the airport for the big storm of January 2025. Since we got in late, there were no grocery stores open and the city CLOSED DOWN on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our hosts came by with a bag of eggs, bread, butter, cheese, sausage, soup, and apples for us. We had enough for several meals and were immensely grateful to have them looking out for us.The VRBO is just as it looks online and was a lovely place to be marooned!"
