"Lovely to see this "grand old lady of Pymble" tastefully renovated: old world charm with modern comforts. Yes, the traffic can be noisy but the room is comfortable, the staff friendly, food good (the bruschetta and ceasar salad our favourites!). Location is very convenient, hop on the train for a few minutes for the boutiques of Turramurra, Wahroonga or Gordon, or head into the city. Why bother with a car? (Check with the hotel if you do have issues with mobility though.). We enjoyed our stay!"

"This is a very cool property with accommodation above a pub and restaurant. The rooms are very basic, but comfortable and clean. There was a surprise sandwich in our fridge, but because we didn’t need the refrigerator, it was a non-issue. This accommodation, is in the middle of everything, and you will meet wonderful people in the pub and surrounding area. There is a giant shopping plaza right next-door, but if you stay on a Sunday, go early if you want to shop. The staff We’re very friendly, accommodating, and extremely funny when we had to deal with a big storm. I would stay here 100 times over, just for the people. The hotel portion is not accessible for wheelchairs, and There is remnants of the smoking culture still lingering in the walls. If you want a high-tech modern place, this is not the accommodation for you if you want to feel like a family member, welcome home."
